About

Based in the South of England I set up Crimson Graphics in 2001, 'drawing' on my previous twelve years of design agency experience. (A little designer pun there!) Lots of fonts and Pantone refs have flown under the bridge since then, every day offers new creative challenges.

Q&As

I take time to find out from prospective clients what their target audience is. Using my experience to create concepts based on this information and their own thoughts on the type of style, colours etc they would like to use for new brands whether that is for new branding, brochures, adverts or packaging.
If a client already has established branding I use this to work from, to continue to strengthen their brand with consistency of fonts, colour and layouts.
I provide all proofs as PDFs and then when the final design is agreed, and signed off, I provide press resolution PDFs for the client to send to either litho or digital print.

I like to find out what the client may already have in mind, and who their target audience is. The more details I get in the initial brief the easier the creative process is for everyone. Digital copies of any existing branding they may have, and details of colours and fonts used helps with this.
Also I like to try and establish a deadline at the start of the project my client has their artwork ready and printed for required.

One of the best aspects of my job is getting involved in my client's excitement for a new project. I meet a lot of inspiring new entrepreneurs through my work, their drive and enthusiasm is infectious and fuels my creativity!

I had always aspired to being my own boss and when the time was right it felt right, and has done ever since. I like dealing directly with clients so I can get a first hand sense of what they are looking for in a design and also to build a rapport for ongoing professional relationships. I have worked with one of my clients regularly for over 16 years!

I have many years of professional and creative experience and using the Adobe Creative Suite as my main tools (Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop). I like to turn concepts around quickly and am fast to respond to emails within studio hours of 9am - 6pm. Plus my mind is constantly in creative mode, even when I'm not in my studio!

Yes I can work with clients anywhere in the UK via email and phone briefing.
