Meath
Hi. My name is Em and I help people with depression, anxiety, life transitions and more. If you want to feel better and have a smartphone or tablet, online therapy may be for you! I offer online counselling and psychotherapy via the secure, encrypted Telemental health app VSee. Download the app to your smartphone or tablet here: https://vsee.com/s/5ad648522ad0d I use VSee for either audio/phone counselling or video counselling (like Skype but HIPAA and GDPR compliant). Potential clients sometimes ask me what the benefits to online counselling are. There are many! It is accessible, affordable, convenient to your schedule, and timely - when you need it. No need to deal with traffic, find a childminder, find parking, pay tolls. If you need a morning, lunch time, tea time, evening or even a weekend appointment, I am flexible! Want to learn more about online counselling? Visit my website here: https://anamcaratherapy.com/online-counselling/ Formerly with BetterHelp and Pride Counselling, I currently take client referrals from Turn2Me and now, Bark. Online counselling! Here for you.
Flexibility and convenience to set my day as I choose. Working with motivated clients who make small changes that result in a big difference in their lives. I love seeing people "come through" their life transitions and experiences, stronger, healthier and happier.
I started my consulting business after earning my Masters Degree in Counselling at The College of New Jersey. I earned my Bachelors Degree at Fordham University in New York City. Since 2003, I have been counselling teens in schools. I decided to supplement my income by starting my own business, counselling and consulting from my home office in America. Since moving to Ireland in 2016, I have worked at SOSAD (a counselling service for people with depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation) and for ComPsych and Inspire, EAPS in America and Northern Ireland. I have also grown my private practice and recently relocated my office to The Village Hotel's Wellness Suite in Bettystown, Meath.
I am an American-trained holistic pyschotherapist. I work with teens, adults and the elderly. I speak French and Spanish fluently. I have over 15 years experience as a full time counsellor. Additionally, I am completing my Level 2 certification in Sound Therapy and actively studying shamanism. My motto is: Been there, done that, can help!
