I am a well established freelance piano and music theory teacher, concert pianist and accompanist in Sidcup, Kent. I offer piano and music theory lessons to adults and children age 6 and up - from beginner up to Diploma level. With over 25 years experience of teaching and being a mother myself, I hope to pass on my love of playing to my students. I encourage ABRSM exams but also support those who simply want to play for fun!

My lessons are fun and tailored to my students' interests. There is a world of music out there and it's important to explore it in the learning process. I travel to my students' houses rather than teaching from a studio, and highlight the importance of daily piano practice to maximise students' potential. I also encourage regular performance to help students become accustomed to playing in front of an audience.

I offer in person piano lessons for children and adults, from beginner to intermediate levels. I have a BA in music from Durham University and I have 4 years experience working as a qualified music teacher in secondary schools around London. In my career, I have performed at prestigious venues and festivals in the UK and Europe, such as Wilderness Festival, We Out Here festival and Pitchfork festival in London and Paris.
