It has been a real pleasure watching my daughter receive piano lessons from Nicol over the past year. She has gained great confidence in playing longer pieces using both scales (and we are not a particularly 'musical' family). Nicol has continued to be very positive and encouraging every lesson and is swift to reply to any question or concern you may have. I would ceratinly recommend Nicol to any budding pianist!

Harrison is AMAZING! He called me immediately after I submitted my request for a piano teacher. I knew right away that I loved his energy and passion for music and teaching. My first session was wonderful, and I look forward to learning how to play piano from Harrison, who is a super talented musician.

Trained at Cambridge University and the Royal Academy of Music, I have 20 years of experience teaching classical piano to children from aged 4 (a good age to start!) to adults (never too late - some of my most accomplished students started aged 30+!), from complete beginners to diploma-level. I teach in English and/or French, online and in person, in Greenwich and in Cambridge, Mondays to Saturdays during term time.

Tabitha has been my teacher since I started learning to play piano 6 years ago. She recently helped me achieve my grade 8. She is a great teacher and an amazing musician herself. This combination meant her lessons brought out the best in me. I really wanted to make progress through the grades and Tabitha made this possible. I highly recommend her!

Hi... I would like to share my review today. I had my first class some minutes back. The teacher teaching here is ❤️ the Director Jolene herself ❤️ who is very sweet, loving, so patient & understanding. To me as a beginner today, the class was beyond my imagination... I was a little nervous since it was the first time until the zoom call began & I got to see Jolene on the other side waving out to me with that sweet smile. the class was vocals & supposed to be a days class but it was so good & I immediately decided I wil do few more... Now m glad to be an active student of this blue ocean waves music school. may God shower his blessings on Jolene, her mom & this school & all students here. Thank you

Excellent platform to help me find the best tutor for my daughter. It was really easy to navigate around the website and making an account was quick. Once my tutor request went live, I had plenty of tutors message me with interest, unlike some other tutor sites. All of them had great experience and were friendly. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for tuition for their child.

Experienced piano teacher and pianist. Trained Concert Pianist at: Yehudi Menuhin School Royal Academy of Music Further studies in Law at the University of East Anglia. Performances at (amongst others) Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall and perhaps the highlight at the Stern Auditorium of Carnegie Hall in New York. Featured on Deutsche Grammophon. Special interest in the music of Franz Liszt. Subsequent 10 year career as a Manager of celebrity classical musicians (including some of the most famous pianists in the world), giving unique insight into music-making, performance practice and instrumental technique at the highest level. Co-Founder of multiple companies in both music and Artificial Intelligence. I teach very simply as a sort of hobby - as it allows me to constantly update and expand my own knowledge of how the piano & music works! I am always happy to oblige students with playing whatever classical music they may wish to discover - I never get bored of it!
I adore the piano, which I would describe as the greatest love affair in my life!
And there is so much music out there to discover and enjoy. Music is a fundamental right of every human being and if I can help a few people experience and further their journey with it, it is a pleasure to do so.
I retired from my role as Chief Communications Officer of an AI company which I co-founded, and wanted to return to my roots, as a pianist and pedagogue. I work mainly as a consultant in the music industry (mostly to my own company once again) and this is some musical variety, where I can give something back.
I have performed at the highest level, trained with the best, and learned for 10 years from the world's most famous pianists who I worked with as a manager for artists. I have, I hope, a rather unique insight into piano technique and interpretation having benefited from the extraordinary opportunities to learn that I had.
I cannot teach online or remotely. It is impossible for me to do anything other than the in-person approach.
I think we're over the worst of it now... Nonetheless, my wife and I are both vaccinated!
