Marcus made an excellent wedding cake to our design. He provided samples and talked through the size, design and delivery. I was swayed as his cakes were quite simply the best I’d ever tasted! (Chocolate, carrot and elderflower and blueberry.) His cake was delivered on time and was absolutely delicious. Even though the cool room was too full, it was robust enough to stay in shape throughout the morning and reception. He was also able to provide a vegan option for some guests which was equally delicious. Many guests remarked how tasty it was! We were still eating perfectly edible leftovers 3 weeks on. Thank you!

We found V&K Bespoke events on Bark. From the outset Karine was excellent in discussing what we wanted for our small intimate wedding dinner. The menu options were extensive and Karine was able to come up with several menu options that met the needs of our varied and fussy guests, which included kids. Karine kept in regular contact ensuring we had all we needed, meeting with us at the venue beforehand. On the day Karine and her team were brilliant exceeding our expectations, ensuring that the room was beautifully laid out. The service they delivered was flawless. And of course the food was great too! Plenty of very clean plates!! Our wedding day was made more special by having V&K bespoke events and I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a worry free event.

Gareth (Bear) was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and truly made our evening unforgettable. He arrived right on time with a big, warm smile—which stayed with him throughout the entire night—and brought such great energy to the experience.
From the moment we booked, his communication was excellent, making everything smooth and stress-free. On the night itself (hen do, night two!), he was incredibly polite, full of personality, and really elevated the whole evening.
The food was outstanding—every dish was delicious—and Gareth was also a brilliant server, engaging effortlessly with all the guests and adding so much fun to the atmosphere.
I honestly wouldn’t book anyone else if I needed a private chef again. Highly, highly recommend!
