We found David after our daughter failed her GCSE maths at school, and suffered a big knock to her confidence. Having used various private tutors over the years, it was a relief to find someone who really cared about our daughter's general well being and mathematical performance. He quickly established which areas she needed to work on and found imaginative ways to support her. Our daughter processes information slowly and David understood this, adapted his teaching methods and made the whole thing fun for her. In addition to his excellent teaching, David set quite a lot of homework which, to our surprise, our daughter completed willingly. This is testament to David's ability to motivate young people and to get the best out of them. Our daughter genuinely enjoyed seeing him each week, and best of all she passed her GCSE Maths in the summer of 2019 (with quite a high score as well!)
