Tom is simply brilliant and has such a lovely way of working and feeding back to the children. He initially worked with our son to help him prepare for school entrance exams and he was just amazing. They built such a lovely rapport which was an absolute pleasure to listen to. My son enjoyed it so much that he actually continued working with Tom even after getting his school place! He helped to build a huge amount of confidence and really helped our son to develop his skills even further in subjects he was already strong at. He is now working with our daughter and has made massive improvements in her spellings and her comprehension but notably her confidence with maths has increased dramatically and is showing in test results at school. Tom has been working with our Daughter in Year 5, to help prepare her for 11+ Entrance Exams. He has such a super manner with her, bringing humour and games into every session. Sometimes our Daughter will ask for shorter sessions but they rarely happen once she has said hello to Tom! He encourages her and requires increased independence with each session, which feels a little odd at the beginning, but clearly encourages resilience and self-confidence which is great.
