The walk is for 1 hour and does not include the collection times. Once home they are towel dried and settled in and water bowls refreshed. I offer a lunch time pop-in service which is a shorter walk, toilet and legs stretched (1/2 hour) and can put food down if preferred.

I have a 6 year old son who also adores animals and is very gentle and tactile, due to being around cats and dogs from birth. In addition to my tutoring, I am also an experienced breeder of Ragdoll cats.

Your dog will have the opportunity to socialise with other friendly dogs, I will only walk a maximum of four dogs at a time so I can give them my full attention.
Please do feel free to get in touch with me if you would like to arrange a regular walk or to book walks on an ad-hoc basis. I currently have some availability for morning walks on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays but if you find you are stuck, at short notice, for a last minute dog walk I will try to help you if I can! I don’t offer pack walks, only 1:1 walks or walks with dogs from the same household as I believe that mass walks are not always a positive experience for every dog and this can cause behavioural issues as well as being hard to safely manage. I offer a very personalised experience for each doggie; they will receive my full attention and have constant interaction throughout the walk as I don’t wear headphones or chat on my mobile. For complete reassurance that all is well, I always provide a text and/or photo after each walk to let you know how it went if you’re not in on my return for a debrief! No two dogs are the same so all my dog walks are tailored to their individual needs, whether this is to increase fitness and stamina, focus on weight loss, play in the park with a ball or frisbee, to experience new environments or to walk in a quiet location away from other dogs if they are reactive or anxious. I am happy to take your dog in my car to offer a variety of stimulating off road walks in woods and fields around your local area, or to follow their normal walking routine if that is the most suitable approach. I am fully insured and DBS checked and I am part of a successful professional pet organisation that has been in business for over 15 years. For safety, I always walk dogs on a lead unless we are in agreement for them to be walked off lead and I am confident that they will return to me when called. I absolutely love being outside walking with a dog and building a relationship over time whilst ensuring they have lots of fun and interaction with me (running, sniffing, chasing a ball or Frisbee and even hide and seek in the woods!)
I have worked at a Romanian dog Rescue Centre where we would socialise rescued street dogs and help them to rebuild trust with humans and with other dogs before being adopted to new homes. To see the change in these dogs was incredibly rewarding and inspired me to change career course (I worked in education and crisis intervention for nearly 30 years) and become a dog walker.
I am insured, DBS checked and have a very positive 'can do' attitude. I really enjoy being with dogs of all breeds and backgrounds, learning how to respond to their different behaviours and ensuring that they always have a very positive experience with me.
I don't pack walk as I believe each dog should have a 1:1 walk with me to build trust and to ensure they have my undivided attention at all times.
