We offer a friendly dog walking and pet sitting, day care and home boarding service from Catterick Garrison in the north, to Boroughbridge in the south and from Ripon in the east to Coxwold in the west. After serving 20 years in the Royal Military Police, Northumberland-born Richard decided to choose a completely different career. Following his days of crime-fighting and endless paperwork in the British Army, Richard now enjoys a far more relaxing and worthwhile time tending to four legged friends. Richard has mainly had small pets all his life - cats, fish, hamsters and stick insects(!!!) and latterly settled with Molly, the couple's springer spaniel and good friend to Richard.
Sarah moved to the dog walking and pet sitting industry after a successful career as a childminder. Dogs have been a major part of her life, having owned springer spaniels and a Rottweiler, but she has also enjoyed the company of a parrot, budgies, rabbits, cats, hamsters, lizards, gerbils and guinea pigs. Favourite pet: 'Diefenbaker', her springer spaniel that she owned when she was younger.
They are very fond of the outdoors and enjoy hill walking and mountain climbing. Being able to work together as a team, in the outdoors, in order to provide important pet services has been a long-term goal.
We think any dog walker or pet sitter can say that they 'provide a friendly and reliable service', but we say that because WE DO! Sometimes clients may think that they are providing something of a challenge, but we relish any challenge!
In addition to providing the services you require, we will also send you a report with the details of that particular walk or visit, so you can keep up to date with what's going on, even if you are away! You can also request digital photos and/or video of your pet if you so desire!
We also have a number of social media accounts, where, (if you choose to consent to us uploading digital media of your pet)you can view photos and videos of our adventures. (Please be assured that you do not have to give consent for the use of digital media of your pets in the public form. We NEVER take pictures or video whilst on a client's property unless requested to do so; further details about the particulars of digital media and it's use can be obtained from Hambleton Pet Services upon request).
