Richard looked after our Staffy Mabli for the best part of a year, coming almost every weekday to walk her on her own as she isn't keen on other dogs. He has also popped in on our cat Bryan when we went away. Would strongly recommend to all dog and cat owners for all walking and cat checking purposes!! Richard and Sarah have saved my bacon on more than one occasion. Bella loves being take out by either of them and you can tell easily that they both love dogs.
I have no worries about Bella when she is with Richard or Sarah as I know that they will do everything in their power to keep her safe.

Sarah and Richard have started taking my 2 dogs out regularly. They are very reliable and always have the dogs out for a good run. What do you love most about your job?
Providing excellent service to our customers is paramount. We love what we do because we are very passionate about animals - and the outdoors; walking dogs fits what we love to do! ...And then there is pet sitting, of course! We aspire to give you the best service possible, tailoring to your or your pet's needs wherever we can!
What inspired you to start your own business?
After serving 20 years in the Royal Military Police, Northumberland-born Richard decided to choose a completely different career. Following his days of crime-fighting and endless paperwork in the British Army, Richard now enjoys a far more relaxing and worthwhile time tending to four legged friends. Richard has mainly had small pets all his life - cats, fish, hamsters and stick insects(!!!) and latterly settled with Molly, the couple's springer spaniel and good friend to Richard.
Sarah moved to the dog walking and pet sitting industry after a successful career as a childminder. Dogs have been a major part of her life, having owned springer spaniels and a Rottweiler, but she has also enjoyed the company of a parrot, budgies, rabbits, cats, hamsters, lizards, gerbils and guinea pigs. Favourite pet: 'Diefenbaker', her springer spaniel that she owned when she was younger.
They are very fond of the outdoors and enjoy hill walking and mountain climbing. Being able to work together as a team, in the outdoors, in order to provide important pet services has been a long-term goal.
Why should our clients choose you?
We think any dog walker or pet sitter can say that they 'provide a friendly and reliable service', but we say that because WE DO! Sometimes clients may think that they are providing something of a challenge, but we relish any challenge!
In addition to providing the services you require, we will also send you a report with the details of that particular walk or visit, so you can keep up to date with what's going on, even if you are away! You can also request digital photos and/or video of your pet if you so desire!
We also have a number of social media accounts, where, (if you choose to consent to us uploading digital media of your pet)you can view photos and videos of our adventures. (Please be assured that you do not have to give consent for the use of digital media of your pets in the public form. We NEVER take pictures or video whilst on a client's property unless requested to do so; further details about the particulars of digital media and it's use can be obtained from Hambleton Pet Services upon request).
Dog Walking
Mon - Fri
Single dog 1 hour: £12.
Single dog 30 minutes: £8.
Additional dogs per household: +£7 in both cases.
Lone walk: £17 per hour.
Lone walk 30 minutes: £12.
Additional dogs per household: + £9 in both cases.
Weekends and bank holidays: + £4 per walk in all cases.
No service on 25, 26 Dec & 1 Jan.
Pet Sitting, Pop-In & Puppy Visit
*NB - Each visit = 30 minutes.
Mon - Fri
1 visit per day: £8.
2 visits per day: £13.
Additional time required due to unforeseen circumstances (originating from the animal): + £2 per 15 minutes.
Weekends and bank holidays: + £4 per visit.
25, 26 Dec & 1 Jan attract a x 2 rate - small animal visits only (not puppy visit)
Pet Taxi
**NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE**
Local vet runs within 8 miles of owner’s address: £12 per hour or part thereof.
Local vet runs within 8 - 15 miles of owner’s address: £15 per hour or part thereof.
Vet runs 15 - 20 miles: £20 per hour or part thereof.
Weekends and bank holidays: + £4 per hour.
No service on 25, 26 Dec & 1 Jan.
Other taxi journeys by arrangement (we will equal or beat any long distance taxi journey quote).
