Woofits pet services came back to me almost immediately following my enquiry, and we arranged a meet up the following day to discuss what we needed. Ian is super friendly and a definite dog guy, our puppy loves her. He was very professional and had all the paperwork ready to be completed, nothing complicated, simple and straightforward, but gets a full picture of your dog and needs, plus likes dislikes etc. And is fully set up with his dog friendly van and fully insured. He was great providing us with hints and tips to help with things we were struggling with when it came to our beloved puppy. He has really great knowledge of working dogs and their needs. It was really reassuring to get some help and advice. Ian now walk our pooch for us during the week, we get updates by way of pictures, videos etc on WhatsApp about each of the walks. The difference it has made to both us and our pup is amazing! She is walked with other dogs so she tears around the fields so much more than when she is on her own, and she is worn out but happy after each walk. It has taken the pressure off us and means we can enjoy our time with our puppy much more, and the stressful time limitations on walks due to work are a thing of the past. Fantastic service by Ian and would highly recommend

Dog friendly walks
The opportunities for dog walking in Bristol are endless. One of the best places to take dogs is Ashton Court – it’s a huge open space with lots of wildlife including deer. But don't worry, they’re all fenced in, so your pup can admire them from a safe distance. The downs are also extensive or, alternatively, a smaller space is Blaise Castle which provides everything a dog could want. A stream for splashing and swimming, woodlands for sticks and scents, large open fields for fetch, and good paths for the two legged walkers. There are plenty of secure dog walking fields on the outskirts, perfect for your pup and their walker.
We have five years of experience walking dogs across Bristol. We pride ourselves on our reliability and have built up long-lasting relationships with many of our customers and their favourite furry friends.
Hear from a professional
What do you enjoy about being a dog walker in Bristol?
Being a professional dog walker allows me to combine three of my favourite things: man’s best friend, exercise and the outdoors. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m getting paid to do it because I enjoy it so much! With acres of green space to explore and such a high number of dogs in the city, Bristol has turned out to be a brilliant place to start my business.
Do you get to know the dogs you exercise?
Yes, I’ve now been walking some of my clients’ dogs for over three years. I like to think that I have a special relationship with all of them but I know their owners will always be number one – which is how it should be. Nevertheless, it’s great getting to be with them for the fun parts but skip the full-time owner responsibilities! I suppose I’m a bit like a ‘cool Auntie’ in this respect.
How do you decide where to take the dogs walking?
Where I choose to take the dogs I walk depends firstly on any owner requests. I also consider the dog size, breed, and how much exercise they need. I take some of my client dogs out with fellow client pups – so long as they get on well and their owners are happy. Some owners even prefer this as it keeps their dogs socialised.
