Parry Hypnotherapy

Working from home in a relaxed setting I help clients create effortless change. I am successful and experienced in helping people overcome phobias, PTSD, anxiety, addiction, lack of confidence and so much more. I discovered hypnotherapy via HypnoBirthing and am a qualified HypnoBirthing practitioner offering tailor made HypnoBirthing courses. I am passionate about enabling mothers access a calmer more comfortable birth, and then a much happier and fulfilling postnatal period. The discovery of hypnotherapy changed my thinking about life, and now I hugely enjoy helping others really get the best out of life. Continued learning is vital to success and I went on to train BRIEF, who are the UK leaders in solution focused therapy. The aim is always to access solutions, to imagine life in a different way and work towards these positives. Importantly as the name BRIEF suggests the aim is to make positive effect in as few sessions as possible.

What do you love most about your job?

The best thing is when people come to a session and they have made the changes they want to see. Sometimes they make changes they did not expect too. I get to meet so many lovely people and it is wonderful to know that they will go on and really enjoy their lives.

In terms of HypnoBirthing I love getting the emails and baby pictures and messages from jubilant mums!

What inspired you to start your own business?

It seemed to me that HypnoBirthing was a well kept secret and at the beginning this was my focus, to help women have a positive happy birth experience.

Why should our clients choose you?

It is hard to say what attracts us to which therapist. I treat all my clients with respect and confidentiality and to make sessions enjoyable. I will also never encourage you to have more sessions than you want, you know what you want achieve and it will never take a session more than you decide.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Absolutely. I have taken many sessions online over lockdown. I even went on a few training courses to find ways of making it as easy as possible. I prefer Zoom and will send a link prior to sessions. However I am also happy to use WhatsApp or FaceTime.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

To stay safe I am working online whenever clients are happy to do so.
For those who want face to face, I have temporarily moved out of my normal hypnotherapy room which was not only very small but upstairs down a corridor past family space. For now I work in a very large downstairs room which is entered into directly from the street and has leather furniture. This allows for easy cleaning, no contact with the household, ventilation and social distancing.
