How long have you been in business?

We have been a limited company since March 2015 but have been trading as sole traders since 2008.

Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?

Yes. We bring all the equipment and cleaning products needed to carry out the work.

We use professional cleaning products and hygiene systems to ensure consistent standards across all of our cleaning services. This helps us maintain safe and effective cleaning practices in both homes and commercial environments.

If a client has specific requirements or prefers certain products to be used, we are happy to discuss this in advance.

What do you love most about your job?

We enjoy helping people maintain clean, well-looked-after spaces that they can feel comfortable and proud of. For businesses, that often means creating a professional environment for staff and visitors. For homeowners, it means taking some of the pressure of cleaning off their shoulders so they can spend their time on other things.

We also enjoy building long-term relationships with our clients and becoming a trusted part of the routine that keeps their homes or workplaces running smoothly.

What inspired you to start your own business?

After leaving the Armed Forces, I wanted to build a business that focused on reliability, professionalism and doing things properly. Cleaning services play an important role in helping homes and workplaces stay safe, organised and presentable, but many people have experienced unreliable services.

Jmr Cleaning Ltd was created to offer a more dependable and well-managed approach, where clients know the work will be carried out as agreed and to a consistent standard.

We believe reliability and consistency are the most important parts of any cleaning service. Our approach is simple: turn up when expected, do the job properly and maintain consistent standards.

We take the time to understand each client’s requirements and agree a clear cleaning plan from the start, so expectations are clear and the service is delivered as agreed.

All of our cleaners are carefully vetted and DBS checked, and we focus on clear communication so clients always know who is responsible for their cleaning and what work has been completed.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

During the Covid-19 pandemic we introduced additional hygiene procedures, staff training and cleaning protocols to help protect both our clients and our team.

Our staff follow safe working practices when working in homes and commercial premises, including appropriate use of protective equipment and hygiene procedures where required.

We continue to follow current Welsh Government guidance and maintain high standards of hygiene across all of our cleaning services.
