I am an illustrator based in Penzance, Cornwall. I work with my husband Andrew providing Graphic Design, Branding, Illustration and Web Design Services. I create unique illustrations for logos, branding and websites.

Describe your creative process.
I work both traditionally and digitally. I can create illustrations in pencil, pen and ink and watercolours. I also create digital illustrations on my iPad using the app Procreate. I then take either the traditional or digital illustrations into Adobe Photoshop. I also use Adobe Illustrator to create surface pattern designs.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I would need a detailed brief on the style and media of the illustration, what the illustration is to be used for. I would also need to know if the client requires a licensing agreement or full ownership of copyright.
What do you love most about your job?
As an illustrator my job is very diverse one minute I can be creating an illustration for a new logo the next a surface pattern design for a collection of scarves. All my illustrations start with a pencil and a sketchbook something I have not lost from my University days.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being an illustrator gives me a lot of flexibility to work on very varied and interesting creative projects.
