As a small local charity we need to tell the story of our work as part of a big campaign. Dan joined us for a day of filming with beneficiaries and the media out at the same time. He was extremely flexible throughout the day, but our beneficiaries at ease and got a brilliant range of shots. Then there was the edit! We were quite demanding and changed the brief many times - nothing was too much trouble and the speed at which Dan turned around what we needed was brilliant. The team at Weathered Oak are simply wonderful. The booking process was very simple, Dan and Abi made things very easy for us and were always on hand to answer any questions or queries that we had! We had an engagement shoot and engagement video, and Dan and Al smashed it! Then came our wedding day, I myself get a bit nervous in front of the camera, but Dan, Al and Zoe made us all feel so comfortable. The atmosphere was just so lovely as it was a new venue for them, and they were just as excited about it as we were! The venue were also very impressed with the team, as was our dog chaperone and all the guests ! We heard nothing but great feedback about you all! We engaged Weathered Oak to produce a show reel for our dog, Mopsy - this was a very professional and speedy service, using state of the art equipment. I am not a natural in front of the camera but they were amazing at making me feel at ease and making it lots of fun! I could not recommend these guys enough. I approached them early August for assistance with a short film I wanted to make for my wedding day. They were so professional and helpful assisting me. They really helped reduce my stress levels by being able to answer all my queries during the project in a timely manner. They also offered their professional advice when needed and it proved invaluable.

I needed assistance in making a special video surprise for my Wife on our wedding day. I had some footage that I needed help putting together along with some skilfull editing. Bear and Alex did the photography and videography for my friends wedding where I was maid of honour. They were the loveliest guys and within minutes of meeting them felt like we already knew them so well. This was such a great quality as ofcourse we spent the whole day with them, so to feel relaxed and comfortable was so important! Honestly Bear and Alex were the best photographers and videographers ever, they were the most helpful, Kind, funny, and supportive people ever! There was so many compliments about them, even from the beginning when they arrived and they walked into mayhem and stress, they just said what can we do to help. Honestly the boys were so helpful and made me feel a million pounds! At one point Alex was even part way under my dress helping my maid of honour trying to sort out my dress! They also made holes in my maid of honour shoes for the straps when her shoes were too big 😂 nothing was too much! And the sneak peaks have looked so great that I am anticipating more! From the very first contact I had with the admin lady Emma a year and a half ago to right up to our wedding yesturday (15th april 2023) Emma has been so wonderful sorting everything out; from booking the photographers for our wedding date to sorting dates for engagement photos , to making sure everything is going smoothly and we are happy. Emma even messaged the day before our wedding to wish us well. Emma is very friendly and puts you at ease with the wedding planning chaos. Alex and Dan (aka the hairy photographers) have been absolutely amazing with their photography skills. Their talent is outstanding; thinking outside the box. Its lovely how they think of every little detail. Very fun guys too easily approachable with their bubbly and friendly personalities. There's not enough words to explain how amazing Alex and Dan are. Our photos and video of our wedding day are just absoloutly incredible. We felt honoured to have Alex and Dan capture our special day, and wow didn't they do that! From the minute they both arrived on the morning of the wedding day, they made everyone feel at complete ease, they captured the most amazing natural shots, and that's because they made everyone feel so comfortable during the whole day. We had a last minute decision to book a videographer for our wedding day, we came across weathered oak on social media who offered to help, and WOW! !! I have no words to explain how amazing the video was, 100% the best last minute decision that we made!! Emma was so friendly and professional through the whole process and very responsive to messages. Bear was just the best! So professional from start to finish, amazing communication, friendly polite and almost felt as if we knew him and had met him before (even though we hadn’t) he had such a calm reassuring manner, which really helped to ease my anxiety on the day! He arrived early in plenty of time and made himself familiar with the venue etc and the guests commented on how nice he was, and I felt so comfortable I didn’t even notice being filmed!
