Best thing is now dig friendly for parking and inside centre, shops are case by case I believe for dog friendliness, open plan cafe / coffee shop on middle of centre.

Outside the Beacon in Turminus Road pedestrian precinct is the Eastbourne Wednesday market. Lewi's fresh fish bar is well worth a visit. I tried the cockles because they seemed very popular and I wasn't disappointed. A shake over with pepper and vinegar, grab a wooden fork and sit down at the picnic tables. Enjoy. Everything is fresh and displayed beautifully over a thick bed of ice. Having finished every last cockle I was thirsting for more so Lewis bagged up a very handsome sea bass, some squid and octopus then threw in a small plaice for good measure. He's back next Wednesday so come on down to Eastbourne Market in Terminus Road. More...

Love this shopping mall and it's a lovely lovely bus ride with spectacular vviews of the sea on one side and fields and animals on the other side. . It is MUCH nicer than Churchill square in Brighton... Different stores & Eastbourne is much quieter, less traffic, less people, quainter shops and restaurants. More...
