I specialise in outdoor photography - landscape and architecture in particular, but also provide other services including interiors, people/events and general photography. I cover East and West Sussex, adjacent counties and London.
Besides, I've been running photography workshops, for small groups and individuals, and giving presentations to camera clubs since 2011.

I highly recommend Slawek. A true professional with top quality pictures.
I’m a very happy client and will certainly be using his services again for my business. Simply the best!
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
First, great light. Once that's taken care of - great composition, and possibly good timing.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Could you give me examples of work that you'd like me to match? When do you need the finished images?
Describe your creative process.
Although I'm proficient and Photoshop/image manipulation techniques, when doing photography I keep editing to a minimum. Instead I focus on the choice of lighting, angle, perspective, and do any compositional work before I press the shutter release button. I don't use flashes and rely on available light for a more natural look.
When doing graphic design I start by gathering reference material (images, symbols, icons), searching for appropriate fonts, think of a suitable colour palette (if colours are not predetermined). I then generate ideas and work them out with pencil on paper, try out different arrangements and proportions. When I decide on a direction for the project, I move on to a vector imaging software to create first drafts.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Photography: exact location of the shoot, date(s), roughly how many images you expect, how soon do you need the resulting images.
Design: general character or look and feel you're going for, examples of designs in a similar vein.
What do you love most about your job?
I've been drawn to visual arts since childhood - starting with drawing, then computer graphics, and eventually photography. It's very satisfying to be able to offer the skills I've accrued over the decades as a service to other people. Plus, I love being my own boss.
Why should our clients choose you?
I deliver high quality results, work closely with the client to ensure I meet their expectations exactly. I am reliable, responsive and I work fast.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can provide photography and/or image editing lessons via Skype or similar platforms. Also, I typically send hi-res images from a photo shoot on location via WeTransfer.
Graphic design is always done remotely.
