Ricky is a good bricklayer though he needs to be clear about the price of his job beforehand,as I ended up paying over double his initial quote and time to complete the job,went from 1 day to 4 days.
This was mainly due to him making an assessment via photos without actually assessing the garden,as I wanted a border in brick,around the lawn,which he completed but did not have time to level out 5 paving slabs at top of garden.He also charges per day (which he had not mentioned initially);however,he has done an excellent job and I am pleased with the end result.
Be careful with existing plants as some have been destroyed with the brickwork and part of my lawn lost,as topsoil was added to level off ground.He does take away rubbish but charges for disposal.He & his labourer were very friendly & polite and worked hard,even through pouring rain.
I would recommend the company but ensure pricing is correct before he starts the job & time required to complete.

Ricky has just completed our little home renovation project which was to paint three rooms, mount a TV, add a kitchen counter, add electric sockets, clear a horrific garden full of hazards and junk, returf, repave and install a new fence and garden door, and clear up the front garden- so a lot of work.
Ricky got back to me within a day, (a lot of builders/ gardeners ghosted me but apparently this is a thing) gave a very fair quote, and stuck to budget as much as possible. I cannot fault his work ethic, attention to detail and workmanship. Unfortunately he was let down but a colleague who didn’t do such a great job on the indoor areas, but Ricky did everything he could to correct snagging issues including working round the clock- really impressive! He basically fixed all snags and it looks great!
We are very happy with our home and we will probably ask him to come back and sort out some more things in the future…

when i was let down by a kitchen fitter i reached out to Ricky and within 2 days he found me a plumber and kitchen fitter who had a team of workers who could do all of the floor and wall tiling, cabinet fitting and an electrician. Took about a week to have the kitchen completed and went better than i expected, would not hesitate to use Ricky in the future. More...

Ricky is a real character and his team built a new block retaining wall along my property boundary. We defined the what was needed on sketch drawings. We also agreed payment arrangements and kept our own record of this aspect. Space was restricted, but he got on with the job by machine and hand working and the finished result is good. More...
