Unfortunately they were not hired as the wait time for the firm to begin work was the end of November .
They were great to deal with and even agreed to standby in reserve if the builders I had hired failed to turn up.
Three contractors have let me down. My job is complete and I have notified Prestige that the job is completed. I would certainly ask them for a quote in the future if I ever needed a builder.

Prestige Bathrooms were the first to respond to my request on Bark for a new bathroom to be installed in a bedroom where there were no services. It is a family run business with a wealth of experience. Neil came to evaluate the job more thoroughly than anybody else and gave me a very good comprehensive quote for all the work that would be involved. The new drains were laid in two days and all the plumbing, electrics and joinery were carried out by other family members Matthew and Dean. How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
we have a architectural technician that carries out an on site structural appraisal with full support of his structural engineer identifies the procedures structurally required to permit the loft to be safely converted

install windows velux or dormer as required
fit and fix insulation to wall floor and roof

Loft boarding is very strong as we only use purpose made 18mm thick, tongue and groove particle board, which is made from various recyclable particle materials held together with super strong glue, this gives a strong secure fit.
