Started very well; fast response and seemed to understand the requirements of the job. Came on time and worked hard for the first 2 days, including persuading me that the small repointing job I had initially asked for was worth extending to cover the whole wall, as it was all soft. However, he then stood me up 3 times after promising each time he would be there and is now not answering my messages any more. I’m left with a half finished job and a wall that isn’t waterproof, so I’m really unhappy at this point and cannot recommend him. I know there were some extenuating circumstances around his failure to turn up on the first 2 occasions, but when these things happen, clear comms is important. If you cannot finish the job, say so. That way the client can organise someone else. Don’t just make promises you cannot keep and then disappear. More...

I’ve shifted to all virtual meetings and consultations to keep everyone safe and cozy at home. All my materials and designs are shared digitally, so there's no need for any physical contact.
And if I ever do meet clients in person—though it’s rare—I make sure to wear a mask, keep hand sanitizer on deck, and maintain that fabulous social distance!
