Excellent bathroom renovations
We worked with Mike and his team over several weeks for our bathroom renovations. He was brilliant at suggesting new ideas which has really elevated our bathrooms, such as underfloor heating which we hadn’t initially considered.
Him and his team are brilliant at executing high quality, timeless and beautiful spaces. We’re absolutely delighted with the work he’s delivered and the transformation of our bathrooms!

We had mike white from MAW Projects build 2 extensions for us over a period of 4 years.
The first was a rear single story extension which included a kitchen renovation.
The work was completed ahead of the proposed time frame and within the acquired budget and the finish was second to none!
The next one was a side double story extension and this one was beyond the scope of what it would look like the high vaulted bedroom ceilings of 4.5m to the amazing walk in wetroom ensuite with state of the art controls was unreal!
This one also came in on time and on budget plus our extras we wanted put it.
They turned up always on time very polite respectable a tidy site and always friendly
Workmanship was 100% and I highly recommend them for your project Mike made me felt very trusting expecially when the project cost over £145,000 but we where in safe hands and thanks to him our property is now worth over 2.5x what we paid for it so we have made a profit.
I would defined have him back to complete another project for us in the near future.

Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Begin with removal of the door to create a toothed brickwork window space.
Usually the floor will need to be insulated and screeded go bring to correct level on the house.
Build walls out internally if the wall is single skin brick work and add the required insulation mainly pir to create the U values needed.
1st fix electrcial and mechanical
Fir window
Plasterboard
Plaster
2nd fix carpentry
2nd fix mechanical and electrcial

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Usually if they have the head room or above 2.4m to new collar ceiling height. Have a roof pitch greater than 40 degrees.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Usaully starts with the insrallation of rsj steels to joist area to hold roof constrcution.
New joists at the correct depths inc flooring
Internal rafters might need to be added to cope with the new strength of the roof as most old buildings are 4x2 timber new perlin walls to be built to support roof and dormer and veluxes.
Cut dormer and velux and all strcutal works inc a new stair well
Re wssther roof and or dormer to make water tight opening making sure you have a clearance of 2m on the height to treads. Insulate area mainly pir insulation electrical and mechanical works plaster board and plastering

I started as a carpenter for 12years than branched into diffrent areas of building works and have been a multi trader in various trades for 9 years now building extensions from start to finish.
What guarantee does your work come with?
I pride myself in the fact the customer is alsays happy when i leave the project. I have very minimal snags and have a year guarentee with my works.
What do you love most about your job?
I love most when i see how happy the clients are when i made their dream a reality.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I felt it was the best way to progress my skills and also meet new people as i am a people person and do like to make people happy when i am able to deliver for them
