Stress and Anxiety
Living with anxiety can be overwhelming and impact every aspect of your life. There are a number of different types of anxiety which may include health related anxiety, social anxiety or generalised anxiety. You may even be experiencing panic attacks as a result. I believe in taking a proactive approach by addressing the root causes and preventing anxiety from taking hold. Together, we’ll work towards building resilience, developing effective coping strategies, and achieving sustainable results, empowering you to lead a fulfilling and anxiety-free life.
Trauma and Phobias
Trauma or difficult events from your life may be holding you back and leading you to rely on harmful coping mechanisms. You may also have developed irrational fears or phobias as a result. In my private practice, I use a type of psychotherapy called Brain Working Recursive Therapy ®, or BWRT ®, to deal with such issues.
The number of sessions needed for this type of therapy is significantly less than in traditional approaches. It is not unusual to fix even long-standing conditions within a single session. With BWRT, once a problem is solved, it is solved for good.
Anger
Anger, a powerful emotion, can manifest in various ways – from irritability and frustration to explosive outbursts. Recognizing these symptoms is the first step in understanding the need for change. A solution-focused approach offers a pathway for transforming anger into positive growth. Through counselling and therapy, we’ll explore the underlying triggers of your anger, and use a practical method to prevent anger from happening in the first place. Imagine a life where anger becomes a catalyst for change, propelling you towards healthier interactions and emotional balance. Reach out today to embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, where anger is no longer a burden in your life.
Depression
Depression’s grip can leave us feeling isolated and lost, affecting our thoughts, emotions, and actions. But there’s a way out, and it starts with recognizing the signs: persistent sadness, energy depletion, changes in sleep patterns, and more. I use a Solution-focused approach that offers a beacon of hope. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths and victories, crafting achievable goals and strategies to illuminate your path. Imagine a life where depression no longer reigns – where you’re in control, shaping your narrative. It’s a journey of resilience, empowerment, and possibility. Reach out today to take that courageous step toward reclaiming your life from depression’s shadow. If you’re ready to make a change, regain control, and find joy again, let’s connect and begin your journey.
BrainWorking Recursive Therapy
BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT®)
BWRT is a form of psychotherapy that drastically reduces the number of sessions for most issues. Introduced in 2013 by Terence Watts, it proved to be a great and successful therapy that produces surprisingly quick and effective results.
Based on the principle discovered by neuroscientists that there is a lag between our actions before the conscious mind becomes aware of it, this type of therapy needs to be provided by a trained professional. A technique is applied to stop thoughts from getting to the conscious part of the brain for long enough to defuse them or prevent them from whatever symptoms it creates.
It is not unusual to fix even long-standing conditions within a single session. With BWRT®, once a problem is solved, it is solved for good.
This therapy applies to many issues, including:
Panic attacks
GAD (General Anxiety Disorder)
Phobias
Depression
Sexual Abuse
Physical Abuse
Traumatic events
Relationship problems
Grief or loss
Post-traumatic stress disorder
Low self-esteem/self-confidence
Success inhibition
Fear of Failure
Performance Anxiety
This therapy is effective, quick, long-lasting, safe, and has no unpleasant side effects. It is practically “content-free,” which means that the client does not need to go into great detail with the therapist but only needs to know how they do not want to feel and how they would prefer to feel.
