Q&As

I love making conferences more fun. They are way too dull usually.

After years of asking people questions on TV and Radio I felt like I wanted to be giving some answers.

I've worked in the speaking world since 1994 and I've never had a bad review. I'm a joy to work with. I probably would say that, but I am!

I can do the coaching remotely, and I've spoken a lot at conferences remotely during the pandemic. However, it's really hard to get laughs online, because you need people in the same room. So after-dinner work I only do in person. I did try it remotely but found the pressure of cooking my own meals too much.

After a really long run of coaching and keynoting online and running webinars, I really had to remind myself that now we're back in the room I mustn't hug people as much as I used to. My regular clients seem relieved about this development.

Services

I help people to write and deliver speeches. I work on whatever you need to take you to the next level. it might be nerves, scripting, gravitas, poise, humour. Whatever it takes I've come across it in my thirty years in the industry.

I work with professional and corporate speakers to make their talks more engaging using humour.
I watch them speak, read their scripts and then add funny lines for them.

I'm an international speaker on how to add impact to your business message. I've spoken all over the world and was the 25th person in history to be inducted into the Professional Speaking Association's Hall of Fame.

I have two after-dinner sets; one about disastrous mistakes I've made during live TV and radio broadcasts with the BBC and others, and the other is more sports based with my background as a commentator, stadium announcer and FIFA game VoiceOver.
I can also create a bespoke after-dinner routine for your organisation, after spending some time in the weeks beforehand chatting to you.

I've hosted everything from the UK Business Awards to the Good Funeral Awards. I've hosted internal awards show at swanky hotels for the likes of IBM, Samsung and Toshiba.
I'm the regular host of the London Leadership Summit and I've three times emceed the Professional Speaking Association's annual conference.
I'm the person you go to when you want someone with the authority of a BBC News presenter and the personality of a comedian, but without anything controversial or likely to offend.
People hire me when they want someone funny but can't afford someone really famous.
(I once did an Edinburgh Festival show about being the eleventh most famous BBC Jeremy. However, since the success of the show I'm now considered to the sixth most famous BBC Jeremy after Paxman, Vine, Bowen, Clarkson and Ball.)

I used to be the 11th most famous BBC Jeremy behind Jeremy Clarkson, Jeremy Paxman, Jeremy Vine etc, but now I'm in the top six. I'll share my motivational tips that helped me climb that prestigious ladder.

It sounds weird, but it's a cracking talk using stories from my life in broadcasting and international conference speaking to share how you can live the life you want.

At school I was told there was more to life than football and I talked too much. I thought of this when I was commentating on my first FA Cup Final at Wembley for BBC Radio.

This talk works really well for students, business associations and firms who want their employees to grow and develop to achieve their very best.
