Jemis Care team have been there for me in my most difficult time, when I had no Personal Assistants available to meet my care needs.
I will always be very grateful to Irene, Manager of Jemis Care because she came the very nect after my telephone conversation with her. She was professional in her approach, reassuring and very efficient. She arranged the care the very next day.
I am very happy with the whole team of Jemis Care as they are punctual, committed and reliable. They make sure they meet my personal care needs, my dietary needs in a supportive and friendly manner.

How long have you been in business?
Jemis Care has been in business for over 2 years, providing over 20 years of experience in care.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
In terms of home care services, our staff are provided with the appropriate PPE to carry out their duties effectively.
We can also bring our own cleaning products.
When providing domestic services / house keeping /office cleaning , staff are also equipped with PPE to ensure that they carry out their duties appropriately.
Our staff are fully trained to carry out their tasks to the best of their ability.
What do you love most about your job?
To provide a care service which enhances people lives and allows them to remain living at home in familiar surroundings and with all the benefits this offers compared with moving into a residential or nursing home.
To be able to make a difference each day and promote an individuals independence as much as possible.
Each individual is unique and and we ensure that we tailor their needs to their care. Making that difference is what I love most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked in the social care industry in various capacities over a number of years.
I am also a tutor, trainer, assessor and mentor.
Over the years I have come across unsafe practice in the industry and I wanted to make a difference by ensuring that care givers are equipped with a deep understanding, knowledge and skills they need to carry out their duties effectively and enable them to provide a high standard of care.
At Jemis Care, we understand that most people prefer to live in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible so we do everything possible to improve the lives of our service users by providing safe and cared for environment. To ensure that we are providing care that is tailored to that individual.

Our carers are professionally trained and selected for their passion for helping people in the care industry. We assess every situation on individual basis and allocate the required care package based on the individual's requirements and needs.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
- Perform hand hygiene immediately before every episode of care and after any activity or contact that potentially results in your hands becoming contaminated.
- The safe use of PPE and when they are required.
- Advice on what to do when within 2 metres of a resident or anyone else within the working environment.
