What inspired you to start your own business?
My father was a self-employed electrical engineer who encouraged me to become a director of his company when I was young. I then followed in his footsteps and started my own business with a partner and then with another partner, as well as running my own building company for 15 years.
Why should our clients choose you?
Forty-five years experience In the industry. The practice used to be a lot larger, and I have trained up 5-6 trainees over the years. I now rely primarily on associates, who are called upon from time to time as and when the need arises, who can undertake the drawings for planning applications et cetera and produce structural designs and calculations as well as, in some cases, provide other services which I cannot.

This is preferable. I use Office 365 and have a high-speed Internet connection as well as the most up-to-date software. To save costs and expedite services rapidly and cost-effectively, we try to use the Internet and the latest software to facilitate this process.
