We would like to thank Patrick for his care and consideration in building our wardrobe unit. He used joinery techniques with 25mm MDF to create a very strong unit. The finish was superb with a rounded edge and neat detailing that made it far more special than what other people had quoted me for. Deck or Porch Construction
I really can't praise J3 Carpentry and Landscapes enough. Patrick gave a competitive quote and was able to clearly explain all the additional processes he would include to ensure the longevity of the hardwood decking. He was very respectful of the area he was working in, avoiding damaging any of plants, or spreading dirt around. He took much pride in his work, with an impressive attention to detail, and was as excited about the outcome as I was when the project was finished. It really looks amazing! We have some other carpentry jobs that need doing so I am looking forward to having Patrick back at some point. What do you love most about your job?
Getting those perfect finishes..... When the mitre cuts meet up perfectly, or the rebate channels slot into place with millimetter precision. The satisfaction of creating something special. Also using quality materials.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start the business after gaining previous experience landscaping. I wanted to work with more quality and bespoke materials such as Cedar and Larch, and I wanted to oversee whole projects from design to completion.

I like to make a job my own and treat it as is if to were in my own. I like to obsess and focus on the small details which really create that finish. The passion that I have for the craft, and also the un-hurried approach that I have to working.
