Des was helpful when he attended and spoke well. However his treatment didnt work and then he didn't honour the "6 months guarantee" he offered at the start. Quite misleading given that we paid for the full package and his treatment wasn't that effective. Response from Home Save Pest Control: To clarify: the 6-month guarantee was explained clearly at the start and is only valid if essential recommendations are followed — this is standard across the pest control industry. On the first visit, I found your kitchen units to be missing, broken, and rotten, with large gaps and no backboards, allowing mice access from behind the walls. I advised that the units needed to be fully replaced, as the condition was too severe to seal. You agreed to get this done. You received your full 3-visit treatment, and I also gave you 2 additional visits free of charge to help clear the issue — even though the kitchen had still not been repaired. After those visits, I heard nothing more until you contacted me 4 months later saying there was renewed activity. At that point, you admitted that no kitchen work had been done at all. As explained, this meant the guarantee was void. Even then, I still offered to return at a discounted rate, despite the time that had passed and the conditions not being addressed. I always aim to deliver a thorough and professional service, but results depend on both treatment and the customer following key recommendations. Ignoring those instructions compromises the outcome and unfairly shifts the blame. – Des Home Save Pest Control
