We had Gorilla Grass to come and completely overhaul our garden. Prior to their visit it was an uneven, unsafe garden. Now it is a little haven for us to enjoy. Avoid this company at all costs. I asked them to come and jet wash my enclosed rear courtyard at the back of my property. I was then going to get them .to redsand the paviers.. The workman who arrived could not get the first jet wash to work and then had to use my masking tape to repair the spare jet wash. Not a good start. He spent a total of three and three quarter hours jet washing and ended up badly blocking my soak away drain in the process. He left without informing me of this. Later on the manager Lance informed me it was blocked. Because the drain was still blocked the next morning I obviously had to cancel anyone returning as I am on my own and had no way of unblocking the drain by myself late at night in the dark. The workman Louis also damaged several paviers around my soak away drain.Two other contracting companies advised me that it was because they had used an industrial jet washer in an enclosed space and my soakaway drain simply could not deal with the amount of water and silt. To cut a long story short I have had to get the soakaway drain cleared and have had to clean up the walls in my courtyard because Louis the incompetent workman left a terrible mess all over the walls of the courtyard. They changed me a very substantial amount of money upfront . So basically I have been charged a very large amount of money for three and a quarter hours work, damaged paviers and a blocked soakaway drain. Definitely would not recommend this company. Lance the sales chap has zero customer service skills and seemed surprised that I didn't want them back. What made it worse is that Lance indicated via text that he would see what he could do regarding refunding for two workmen coming the next day that I had to cancel because the drain was still blocked. I had no alternative choice. I had an email from him refusing any refund.
I had no offer of any help whatsoever from this company even though their workman blocked the drain and just left without telling me. He had the chance to do so when he was leaving and I spoke to him

Dear Sue, We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with our service. Our goal is always to provide a positive experience, and we regret that this was not the case for you. To clarify some of the points raised: Blocked Drain: I myself, Louis, discovered that the soakaway drain was already significantly blocked with built-up silt, unrelated to the jet washing. As your courtyard is a permeable surface, most areas drained away normally—only the last two meters of washing led to water pooling near the drain. We have photos documenting this. Equipment Used: The jet wash i used was not an industrial model but a standard household unit (Titan TT1300 PRW). It is lightweight, portable, and not designed to produce excessive force beyond typical domestic cleaning requirements. Communication: I attempted to inform you before leaving, but as you were on a phone call, I was unable to fully discuss the drain issue with you at that moment But lance did via text as you couldn't answer the telephone call, their was no debris on the surface to block your drain. Cancellation & Costs: We scheduled a return visit to complete the work, but you cancelled while our team was already on route. Given that we had previously surveyed the job, completed five hours of jet washing, and incurred costs for the scheduled follow-up, we sought to reach a fair resolution. We also asked what you felt would be reasonable in this situation. We appreciate all feedback and always strive to improve. Called on Lance for help having been royally ripped of by a local cowboy outfit I engaged to do some work on my patio slabs who ended up wrecking the patio and my beautiful existing artificial grass supplied and layed by Gorilla Artificial Grass several years ago. Lance and his magnificent team turned up and prepared, repaired and relayed the grass to its former glory at a very reasonable price. Lesson learned - I should have called Lance and his team in the first instance.

The full Team got our garden done over one and half days and I couldn’t be happier with the results. We can't recommend Gorilla Grass highly enough.. They have just finished a 6 week project in our back garden and we're absolutely thrilled with the results. . From the initial meeting, to the finishing touches the company have been efficient and polite and the communication has been brilliant. Lance offered up some great ideas, and kept in touch throughout the works, visiting regularly to check everything was on course. Every member of the team was courteous, and invoices and receipts were dealt with promptly by Vicky in the office. I made this decision following a strong neighbour recommendation to use Gorilla Grass and also after years of unsuccessfully trying to rid my lawn of leather jackets.
