Unfortunately I can’t leave 0 stars. Do not go with these clowns, went bankrupt and left us in a mess. Poor installation, cut through electric cable states on survey and still argued to replace it, CEO is a cowboy, left garbage around our garden, drive and adjacent bridle way, we have lumps bumps, drains poorly disguised, did not collect digger for weeks on end, laid grass over concrete base which has caused injury to my children, dosent drain. Several calls, emails, failed appointments. Finally made contact with the Bankruptcy people who gave us the delightful news, the company is no longer. Glad we chose new lawn to install our artificial grass. They advised we should have a different type of base as we have 2 cats, so the base they used prevents urine smells andis perfect for animals/pets - we haven't noticed any so guessing it's worked.

Very slick operation, miles ahead of some of their competitors. Ben visited my home in Church Crookham a couple of weeks ago to show me the different artificial grass types/samples and explain the differences and costs. We decided on a slightly shorter height as we have 2 dogs, so makes it easier to clean. He also advised that they used a material called grano dust instead of sharp sand to stop any smells of dog urine. We went on their advice and haven't had any issues with smell whatsoever. More...

After requesting quotes from various artificial grass installers across Surrey, we made the decision to award the work to New Lawn. We had a very large area, over 200m2 for a primary school. Being an educational establishment, we had to make sure the relevant safety certifications, CRB checks and insurance and practises were in place. This was no trouble for the team and they supplied us with the necessary information very quickly. Over the course of the week in which the grass was being installed, the team conducted themselves well and made sure that the area was left cordoned off and tidy overnight. We instructed New Lawn Artificial Grass to remove our old lawn and replace it with fake grass. Initially I thought it was going to be a big job and for the installers I think it was, but the whole process was so simple. We met with Ben initially when he came to measure our garden and give us a quote. The price was very competitive and cheap in comparison to some of the other quotes we received. The quality of the grass we chose is amazing - the most important thing being that it bounces back up when you walk on it and doesn't flatten easily. Clark and his team who actually installed the grass worked very hard despite the bad weather and were friendly and took their time to make sure the finish was perfect. I’d say it’s the the opportunity to develop and grow a brand which has far fewer boundaries and steers clear of traditional corporate messages. For years, I have worked with a small team of individuals and New Lawn provides the opportunity to network further and make key decisions as part of a larger team.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I think a lot of the time anyone who doesn't own a business assumes it's freedom. That may be so once a business reaches maturity, however it's quite the opposite in the initial stages. Endless lists of tasks, countless hours and a lot of stress, coupled with no paid holiday. That all becomes bearable though when you get the excitement of a new customer, have control over your own destiny and a 'sky is the limit' potential to grow the business into something spectacular.
Why should our clients choose you?
We're an extremely hard working team and we pride ourselves in going the extra mile to ensure that every customer becomes a happy customer. It sounds cliche, but it really does ring true. Particularly in our industry, where there are lots of cowboys and everyone knows of a horror story, it's crucial to ensure that everyone has a positive experience and as such can provide us with positive reviews and referrals to generate more business. As a team of 4 directors, we're very different to many of our competitors as we all have an active role within the business, each specialising in certain areas. Jonny is our Head of Installation and has over 7 years personal experience working within the industry, making him a true expert. Jacob, our Marketing Director has 6 years of experience marketing for small businesses and runs a successful web design agency. We then have Ben, our Operations Director who is a successful entrepreneur in a variety of businesses including property development. His role is managing projects from start to finish on a personal level. I, myself have 6 years experience running the web design agency with Jacob and a high degree of knowledge in the technical and logistical aspects of running a business. Together the operation runs very smoothly and enables us to really focus on every area of the business.
