What do you love most about your job?
People often say to play to your strengths - going back many years, my favourite subjects were Maths and English. Marketing requires a high level of both, as there is data that needs to be analysed to assist with business growth, and ad copy / website content that needs to be compelling in order encourage people to buy a product or service. You won't find any grammatical errors here! In fact, I can spot them a mile away, so if you're needing a proof-reader amongst other things, that's just another part of my service.
Mostly, I enjoy the variety that marketing brings. I've led workshops around the country, as well as online for the Prince's Trust; I've done many webinars, visited 10 Downing Street to discuss entrepreneurial growth and issues in the Midlands with the Head Of Business Policy, and led marketing initiatives by Enterprise Nation (the UK's largest company that assists startups and SMEs).
What inspired you to start your own business?
Engage First Page started as a side project, helping friends and family with their websites and advertising. After being made redundant as a result of Covid 19 in August 2020, I've since taken this full time.

I'm personable, I care about all the clients I work with, and I like to add genuine value to any business.
All work undertaken is on a monthly rolling basis - there are no fixed term contracts here!

Marketing can be done from anywhere so yes absolutely - but I do also like to have monthly face to face meetings where possible.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Meetings are online only at the moment, and payments are made by online transactions.
