How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
The foundations and brickwork are in good condition. Roofs and door are changable/fixable.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Stripping out the existing shell to get it sealed ready for studwork and insulation. Build up the floor with insulation and lay a caberdeck flooring with glued joints. Add any windows the clients require. Lay the first fix of electrical supply cables, plasterboard and skim. Decorate. Lay flooring and finish with skirting.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Theres a good access point for the stairs with 2m headroom. Additionally truss roofs are more difficult to achieve.
