Initial interaction was good. For a simple project it suffered with long delays, which could have been easily avoided. Unfortunately the final finish was poor, most notably, the tiling, with inconsistent gaps and the contractor claiming the hollow sound the tiles make when tapped was because he adhered them to the wall using a 'dot and dab' method, which he also claimed was standard practice. Subsequent online research later revealed that it was not. Which leaves me in the unenviable position of waiting for tiles to crack.

Due to delays the project was rushed and as a result the final finish was well below the expected and accepted standard. I will not be using Coleman & Bartram again. More...

This was good work well done: freshening up my dining room and a bedroom, as well as the hall and main corridor of my flat with
wallpaper and paint.
The quote came after the rooms were measured (not just looked at).
The estimated duration of the work of 5 to 6 days proved accurate.
The whole process was quickly and tidily effected. There is a real potential for such work to be stressful; but this re-decorating moved forwards in a pleasing manner, day by day, with clear progress having been made, which

Jamie did a great job diagnosing a number of problems with our plumbing and fitting a new shower screen and bath tap and shower unit. I can highly recommend.

We needed a ground floor ‘walk in ‘ shower with a fold down seat to allow for our increasingly impaired mobility in old age. This would mean that we could then remain in the house we have loved for more than 40 years.
Jamie and Robin proved to be the ideal team to achieve this task. In less than two weeks they transformed our small downstairs toilet room to the en suite level that one would expect in a good hotel. They worked enthusiastically together making the minimum of mess and obstruction and consulted us continually as the work progressed. Jamie has great vision and ability in bathroom design and is a highly skilled plumber. He and Robin worked hard, often going the extra mile, to produce a good functioning and very neat arrangement of shower, WC and basin in our smallest room. We are delighted to recommend them. Hi, firstly I like to say what a good idea Bark.com is as it helps in choosing your tradesmen. They come to you when you post your joba truly unique or sound idea.
I would recommend Jamie and Robin as they explained things really well. The shower, wet room is finished to a high standard and our old bathroom looks completely different. This isn't something you are likely to do that often but I would recommend Coleman Batram. The finish speaks for itself. They have transformed what was a shabby bathroom into a chic shower room.

After a successful ensuite makeover, appointed Jamie to convert our bathroom into a fully functional, minimalistic yet stylish shower room.
Jamie fitted to my design which obviously evolved as time progressed!

Reseal a shower tray
A small job but was managed in a professional manor. I was informed of the tasks needed to complete the job and they carried this out in a timely manner. I am delighted to be able to put in a review for Coleman and Bartram. I recently spoke to Jamie on the phone regarding my non-working toilet.

As it was an emergency we arranged for him to come at 07:30 the next morning to assess the situation and to come back in the evening, once his booked jobs had been done. This would also give him the opportunity to buy any replacement parts.

He worked cleanly and efficiently and he has a very patient, approachable manner - answering all my questions while he was trying to work!

I had asked for a rough quote when I first spoke to him on the phone and I'm pleased to say that the final amount charged was very fair.

He is now officially 'my plumber' and having just recently moved it's a relief to know I have someone reliable to call on for any plumbing problems.
