What makes a great website?
A great website is always defined by its ease of usability and learnability. It doesn't matter if you've a high tech development done on the backend of the website, but if your customer or visitor doesn't feel the ease of using it then the website won't qualify for being a great website.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I will ask only 5 questions and will perform my own requirement engineering,
1) What is the objective that you want to achieve with this project?
2) Who is the target audience of the project (age, gender, pocket size, preferences, demographics)?
3) How vital role does this project plays in your or your business's success?
4) How soon do you want it to be completed and how much are you willing to pay for it?
5) Are there any inspirations for the project like competitors or something similar?
Describe your creative process.
My creative process consists for 4 steps,
1) Requirement gathering (as explained in the previous question)
2) Requirement engineering (based on the gathered requirements I create a flow of the achieving the objective)
3) Creating a blue print of the solution and getting it approved after multiple iterations of step 1 and step 2
4) Delivering a version of the required solution
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I need inspirations, target audiences, vitality of the project, and objective of the project before starting the work for a client.
What do you love most about your job?
I love interacting with new people and putting my brains, my experience, and my expertise in solving the problems of my clients and fulfilling their requirements. The most satisfying moment is when clients love my work and acknowledge it in front of the whole world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've worked in many agencies and what I notice is everyone trying to fool clients and squeeze the maximum juice out of them and yet not delivering the excellence. My only principle is, never squeeze anyone and never let anyone squeeze you. Always deliver what you promise, if you've a 1% chance that you might not be able to deliver then either do not commit or at the very least inform the client of your uncertainity.
