Very Unprofessional – Would Not Recommend
We hired this contractor through Bark because they had good reviews and showcased impressive pictures of past work.
Unfortunately, our experience was nothing like what was promised.
From day one, communication was poor and unprofessional. Different teams showed up on alternate days, didn’t follow the agreed plan, and clearly lacked experience — they messed up tiling, painting, grouting, and flooring.
Despite promising a final quality check before payment, the contractor claimed to have done it via video and pushed for payment, even after we pointed out multiple issues. It took over 10 days and repeated messages for him to return.
They installed a faulty sink, toilet unit, and bath screen — and didn’t even identify the faults themselves. We found the issues and flagged them, at which point they blamed the manufacturer and asked us to pay extra to replace the items. A competent team would’ve spotted these problems before installation.
We also had to buy unnecessary materials ourselves, often on short notice. One day, my wife had to carry heavy items home with our kids because they didn’t want to wait.
We’ve done many home projects before, but this was by far the worst. Their work does not reflect the “500+ bathrooms” they claim to have done. Unprofessional, inexperienced, and disrespectful — avoid at all costs.

The defective materials were purchased using your own trade account, which meant we were unable to liaise with the supplier directly in relation to the sink and shower screen. The project was completed both on time and within budget. At the time, you expressed your satisfaction with the work and even thanked the team with a bottle of wine. The scope included two bathrooms and the removal of a staircase, and we remain proud of the quality of the finished result, which is displayed in photographs on our website. It is also important to note that an outstanding balance of £500 remains unpaid, making your claim of financial loss all the more surprising. Throughout the project, our communication was consistent and responsive—available to you day and night, seven days a week. We were further concerned at your attempt to further downgrade your original review from three stars to one star, apparently after your original feedback was placed under investigation by Bark. That said, we genuinely hope you continue to enjoy your new bathrooms and we wish you all the best for the future.
