What do you love most about your job?
I love designing and creating something that will stand the test of time. I was previously in IT and only saw part numbers and prices, nothing tangible, so doing something creative and real is not work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I moved house from Hampshire to Worcestershire after falling for a Georgian listed home that needed renovating. I have always made kitchens, cupboards and fitted offices for our selves, but never thought to make it my business, but after 30+ years in the IT industry, I needed a change and focused my efforts on the house and growing my furniture business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I need my furniture to be perfect. When I buy wood, I have to plane it myself because pre-planed wood can be 0.5mm-1mm out! I design everything on my PC first, down to the finest detail, that irons out any creases and ensures that what I then build when I go into the workshop is not only going to last, but looks the best it can proportionally.
