What makes a great website?
Mobile friendly sites are critical.
A clean design that helps to clearly define your customer journey so they do what you need them to easily.
And a site that is regularly updated keeps your content fresh and helps your site's searchability.
From an administrational point of view you want something easy for anyone on your team to maintain.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Who is your audience.
Where will the design be seen? (Illustration/print)
What do you want your visitors to do? (Web / print)
What are you trying to communicate? (Illustration/Logo)
Describe your creative process.
Listen to the brief, establish the purpose and the audience.
Lay out a timescale, Sketch out some ideas to make sure we’re on the same page.
Make any necessary adjustments before progressing too far.
Progress to the final result with a couple more feedback loops to catch any other issues.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
The target audience, timescale and dimensions.
In the case of illustration, where it will be distributed, and in what medium, and how long the licence is required.
What do you love most about your job?
I’m proud to use my skills to bring someone else's project into reality.
I like to find the overlap between the different disciplines I work in and learn a little more and grow a little more with each completed project.

The flexibility to work on different projects and grow as a creative.

General Practice
I work across design, illustration and marketing and this is a pretty good run down of my process.
1. Chat with you to get an idea of the scope of work.
2. Send you sketches/mockups/ ideas
3. Listen to your feedback.
4. Make the changes based on your feedback- maybe providing alternative suggestions I feel might work better.
5. Get your approval- then move to the next stage
rinse and repeat till the final work is delivered.
That's pretty much it. Simple right?
Illustration
I have a signature style and also bespoke styles.
With illustration I'll follow the same process outlined above but establish the style of the work with the first image before carrying it through any other images.
Illustration is a value-based model and is licensed for term, distribution, how it's used, and who's using it, so, you know, I won't charge you the same as say Coca Cola. Unless you're Nescafe.

Websites & Landing pages
I don't offer websites as a core service, although I do work on web design. It's more just something I can do as part of a larger project, like if you wanted a logo, some flyers, an email marketing campaign and a simple informational site to get up and running.
I work with Wordpress so you could build on it down the line and incorporate a shop or scale your business as you need.
Email Marketing
I've worked for more than ten years as an email designer and developer for Loreal, Fitflop, Carphone Warehouse, you get the idea.
I can bring you from zero to a full-fledged marketing automation and work on regular campaigns or train you on how to work with it. Whatever you need really.
Print right now, is my favourite thing in the world. Well. In conjunction with Illustration.
