Draycote Hotel

It was my experience of seeing how wonderful the staff are at running weddings that made my decision to choose Draycote Hotel for my mother's 70th birthday celebrations and what a great decision! We discussed the options with management team in advance and they were keen for us to try their private dining option. We had a drinks reception on the balcony overlooking the reception and bar area and then made our way into a beautifully laid out room for 34 of us. The food was amazing and all of the dietary requirements had been met, some of which were a little more challenging than the normal ones. My family commented on the high level of customer service offered by all of the staff who were serving us. We were able to spend the whole evening in our private room before making our way downstairs for a few additional drinks in the bar area. It was a totally relaxed and stress free evening which was enjoyed by everyone especially my Mum who was overwhelmed when she saw how the room looked. Many of us stayed overnight in very comfortable rooms with the most comfy beds! Better sleep than at home! The rooms were clean and modern. The staff had prepared a large table for us for breakfast in the morning so that we could all eat together which was a lovely touch. Great breakfast too. Massive thank you to Anna for bringing it all together for us and to Stephan and the rest of the great Draycote team for a wonderful night. Where do I start?! I don't think there are enough words I can use to describe not only the hotel but its team! We held our wedding at Draycote Hotel last Saturday 3rd May. Stefan and Anna could not have made the day any more perfect and are simply amazing. The team which work with them are equally efficient and courteous and willing to please and all work soooo hard to make each day special. No one could do enough for us. One of our guests now uses a wheelchair and has already written to thank us for how brilliant they were in catering for her needs and ensuring she was well looked after. The food as always was amazing. I simply cannot emphasise how fantastic this hotel was. The pictures down by the lake are simply stunning! Myself and my husband had our wedding reception here on 3/9/16 and still 3 weeks later can't find the words to describe how fantastic the day the was.
Firstly, I would like to thank every member of staff that was involved before and on the day.. Each one of you made our day really special.
The food was fantastic and all our guests complimented how lovely the food was including the canapés which went down and absolute storm!
The organisation on the day was brilliant, nothing was an issue and ourselves and guests were to attended to in a exceptional manner!
We would like to thank Philip for all his hard work on the day ensuring that it ran as smoothly as possible.
I would urge anyone thinking of getting married here to do it we had an amazing day and that's with huge thanks to all the team.

Attended the wedding of stephanie and martin the new Mr & Mrs Rollins. Excellent service throughout the day, the staff were amazing especially a lovely lady Bernice who could not do enough for the family and the children.

Draycote was our wedding venue and from start to finish it was Amazing!! The staff are incredible, they know exactly what there doing and have years of knowledge to help guide us through the process and cheeky tips for the big day too! We had our wedding here on the 6th April 2018 and we couldn't have asked for more. From start to finish every single member of staff we came into contact with were absolutely fantastic. So accommodating to our requests and needs and so friendly and helpful. The day ran so smoothly thanks to them all; those who helped with the planning of the wedding but weren't there on the day and those who were less involved with the planning but were there on the day! Every phone call, every email answered promptly and helpfully.
The venue was so special having our photos taken overlooking the reservoir, getting there via golf buggy - definitely a high point of the day. They were happy to let us visit before hand and take our photographer down on the golf buggies too.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is fantastic! The chef was excellent and accommodating on various dietary needs. On the day the hotel looked spectacular. Our colour theme not only ran through the room we used but also through the hotel, on the staircase too.
I couldn't praise this venue highly enough and would definitely recommend it for a wedding. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their food and even commented on how delicious, well-timed and how much food there was in the evening.
A perfect day in a perfect venue. 5+ stars!! Thank you to everyone involved there. You are all fabulous. More...
