We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Brandy Hole on Saturday,and it could not have been better.The staff are just lovely, and fun,and we are fond of them all. . They listen to what you want,and act upon it, allowing you to really enjoy your day without worrying at all, it ran just like clockwork...the food was lovely, the timings perfect. The venue is beautiful, even when the sun isn't shining,i could not recommend it highly enough. Amanda, the events manager,is charming,efficient and lovely, a real asset to the team. Debbie & Becca always helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. Booked this venue back in March to host my wedding which took place yesterday and I have to say the staff and management there made the day such a wonderful success. The food was amazing, the staff were so attentive and helpful and all my 170 guests enjoyed a fabulous party. The brandy hole is a hidden gem in a beautiful riverside location perfect for a celebration. My new husband and I recommend you check it out. We viewed this for our wedding venue and although we didn’t go for it due to numbers, the service was excellent from start to finish. My wife and I had our wedding day here on the 12/4/18 and can honestly say we had the best day of our lives and an experience we shall never forget. The staff at Brandy Hole were beyond excellent the whole way through our experience and the level of commitment and excitement they showed on the day was second to none they really out did themselves. We have become quite regular customers of the Brandy Hole and it is a little hidden gem. The outside of the building can be a little off-putting at first as it has no character whatsoever. But it all changes inside..... upstairs the restaurant/bar is beautifully decorated in New England style. Squashy sofas welcome you while you wait to be seated or just to have tea with friends. The vista from the many windows is stunning and obviously everyone wants to sit next to them so it is a gamble even if requested on booking. But there are NO bad views!
The Sunday lunches are wonderful and the specials are just that - enjoyed every meal I have had there. The service is friendly and efficient. Be prepared for a bumpy journey getting there as it is down a very winding road with numerous speed humps to ensure the residents don't get disturbed by the hungry hordes More...
