What do you love most about your job?

I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!

Do you offer any specialised forms of training?

I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.

What variety of training options do you provide for clients?

I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.

What qualifications have you achieved?

I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

I had an amazing experience with this business. Michelle is absolutely fantastic. She had Charli for 2 weeks and she came home a totally different puppy. I’m so excited to keep working with Charli to see how she progresses. I got Charli back from training a week ago and I’m so impressed that Michelle has kept in touch to how she is doing. She is a terrific person and great trainer. I will be sure to recommend her to family and friends. Thanks Michelle for everything you did for us.

Sam was excellent. Could not have asked for better. My reactive dog is much calmer and isn't pulling on the leash to get to the squirrel, duck, other dog. He is calmer and much more fun to walk. 5 stars all the way. Would recommend to anyone. Sam took his time to show me and my husband how to handle the dog.

The best thing I ever did for my pup was hire Howard! I did a ton of research on dog trainers in the area, and Howard was not only the most affordable but also the most knowledgeable. He clearly understands dog behavior and how to get real results. He was super professional and even followed up after our sessions to check in on how things were going. We did training both at home and in public, which really helped my pup learn to focus even with distractions. Before training, she was extremely disobedient, constantly jumping, biting, and not listening at all. She was terrible on a leash. Now, she’s like a completely different dog. She listens, follows commands, and greets people calmly without jumping all over them. Now we can enjoy walking her without the constant pulling. The progress has been incredible. I highly recommend training with Howard. You won’t regret it!
