Â It is expensive and at first it is hard to get over the fact that you are giving your animal a slight "tick" to remind them to pay attention to you. Â After getting a boxer puppy a few months ago, I thought that I would be able to train him and get him under control without the help of a trainer....Boy was I wrong. While positive reinforcement should always be the primary motivator in training and behavior modification, some dogs need more structure than "positive reinforcement only" doctrine will allow. We help everyone achieve the right balance for themselves and each individual dog without building treat dependency or painful correction methods.
