Find a Dog Trainer in West Virginia

I have a smaller breed dog, and he is really aggresive with strangers. He wasn’t able to walk, so I called Hillcrest and they made him an appointment for the next day. When I took him, that was his first vet visit, which I was extremely nervous about. The receptionists were very kind, friendly and helpful. They let me wait in my vehicle with him until they were ready for us, then they came out to the parking lot to get us. They gave me a muzzle to put on him, which he didn’t mind too much and I was relieved he couldn’t bite anyone. The veterinarian was actually able to look at his paw/leg and do an exam without him getting really stressed and overwhelmed. She said he most likely pulled a muscle and would give us an anti-inflammatory for him to take, (he was a little tense and kept tightening his mussles when she’d try and extend his leg) and if he wasn’t better in a couple days to bring him back for X-rays. After 24 hours of taking the anti-inflammatory, I already noticed a difference in him. He was able to actually stand and eat. After taking the anti-inflammatory for 7 days, he is back to himself and able to walk. I’m extremely happy I took him to Hillcrest. They didn’t try to do anything that was unnecessary just to make more money, and they seemed to really care about my dog and never made me feel judged or try to push other services/products on me.

Yukon & Nana look amazing after their visit to Bakers Farm Kennel. They had their work cut out for them with Yukon and they were fantastic. Friendly staff and great facilities. See you all next visit. I highly recommend everyone give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Before beginning training, our dog Herbie was in charge of our house. He did what he wanted, when he wanted, no matter what he was told. He would hop from couch to couch, chase the cat, eat food off of the kitchen counter, and pull us around on walks. Now, with 2 training sessions with Almost Heaven K9 Training and the motivation that we have to continue working with him, he is calm inside the house and can stay on place when told. He doesn’t chase the cat or even attempt to reach things on the counter. Now, taking him on walks is so enjoyable. We are so thankful for the help and guidance Almost Heaven K9 Training has given us. Our lives have truly been changed by it.

Ian is a great canine trainer, and even more importantly, he’s a great communicator of training. Anyone who brings their pup to Ian is going to get great training for their canine, and is going to get all the information they need to maintain the growth.

We take our Labradoodle, Bailey, to 3 Dog Farm whenever we go out of town. She absolutely loves it. She gets to swim, run, and get dirty! She always comes back home to us freshly groomed and exhausted. Mike and Gina are so wonderful! We will never take her anywhere else.

Are there more than 5 stars? Lisa has been my in home pet sitter for close to 20 years. Her beautiful new kennel on her farm is now another great option. I couldn't do it without her. She has the knowledge, experience and professionalism you dream of finding.

My two dogs spent a wonderful six weeks in dog daycare (and occasional boarding) here. I cannot think of a better pet-oriented business anywhere. The staff are caring, kind, accommodating, and love the dogs. Check-in and checkout are done efficiently. The location is convenient and beautiful. My dogs could not wait to jump out of the car each day to come hang out with their friends. Thank you so much, Pampered 4 Paws!

Zoey has been high strung and independent from day one, but Erin's two week program put her on the right track to becoming a very sweet and fun dog. Zoey has been boarded with Erin several times and will always be my number one choice. I have no doubts she is safe and well cared for with Erin and her husband. Such a great club and they had a fantastic trial

Hannah must be a witch, because she works MAGIC. My hyper dog who never listened became a well mannered boy who is only hyper in the proper places/ times now. I cannot sing her praises enough and tell everyone about her. If you’re even on the fence about booking, book her. You’ll cry with relief when you get your dog back and they actually listen and dont destroy anymore. I can now confidently take my dog anywhere and I love going shopping/ out to eat with him.
