We very highly recommend hiring Virginia as your dog trainer. We needed help with our 8 year old pit bull Olga who started acting out and having extreme separation anxiety after we moved to our new house. We tried everything and were desperate to help our baby who was very obviously stressed out since she never had issues with going to the bathroom indoors or with destructive behavior before we moved. We just didn't understand what was going on with her or how to help her. Virginia explained that it was extreme anxiety rather than what we thought was resentment. She showed us an incredible amount of training methods on how to communicate with our dogs and how to clearly ask them for what we want. She explained the process of building trust and communication so that Olga will trust that she doesn't have anything to be anxious about. She has stopped acting out completely and listens so well now! We contacted a Steve to help us with our dog that was showing aggression and was fearful. Steve met with us and took the time to understand the issues. He also worked with us to explain what we needed to change to better establish ourselves as the leader with our dog. He is very patient. I was impressed with how he worked with our dog and gained his trust using his techniques. We are already putting these tools in place ourselves and although I know this process will take time I am hopeful that with Steve’s help we will get to our goals for our dog.

I can’t express how grateful we are for Alpha and Omega. We had a puppy that we were hoping to be an emotional support dog for our autistic twins. At the age of 6 months old we instead had a 100 pound uncontrollable puppy. He would bark at everything and was so reactive to everything and everyone. I was embarrassed to walk him. It was getting so bad that I am ashamed to say we were thinking ( multiple times a day) of rehoming him.

When I pick him up that night he sleeps like a rock !!!

Best decision we ever made! We have a 5 month old female GSD. I was at my breaking point- the biting, the jumping up, the barking…did I mention the biting?! Ray boarded and trained Athena and the results are phenomenal! He was able to teach us how to communicate properly to Athena. It’s like we have a completely different dog! I love that he sent videos through the boarding time so we could see Athena’s progress. I met with a few other trainers and I felt they had more rapport with animals than people.
