Fido Fidelis Dog Training gave me the tools i needed to take my dog Chance from good dog to great dog. With stereotypes on the breed dog i own, i wanted Chance to have his obedience down pat to prove to others that it is not the breed but the owners. Not only did they help with his obedience they also got him to stop jumping at cars while walking on a busy street. Then after that, we were able to get him to do recall. Once we learned proper recall, Chance was able to progress to off-leash training. Our trainer was 100% sure Chance would do good. I was nervous that he would run away. After the leash was unclipped, the dog listened perfectly to all the commands. The trainers at Fido Fidelis both cared about Chance’s progression. I highly recommend Pete and Donna at Fido Fidelis Dog Training. They will be able to help you and your dog conquer any challenges or fear that arise!

A Dog's Way is AMAZING. They care so much about our Dewey! They are incredibly flexible when we need them. Sebastian, the founder, is a brilliant trainer too so you get the benefit of your dog having wonderful people to walk him/her but also the benefit of Sebastian's wisdom and guidance on what to do with those little challenges that come up day by day when raising a pup. We recently went to Europe and Dewey boarded with A Dog's Way and it was all fantastic. He came home so happy and in such great shape. We are very grateful to A Dog's Way for helping us raise Dewey in this first important year of his life and look forward to many more years with Sebastian and team to come! Highly recommend!
We have been using Dog Walk NYC for nearly 4 years and have had a wonderful experience! Today is our last walk with our walker Bryan as we are moving out of the city and we are devastated to part with him. Our dog George loves his walks with Bryan and his doggie bffs (see pic)! We have had a number of walkers with dwnyc over the years and have also used dwnyc for overnight help and everyone has been trustworthy, reliable, friendly and they are true "animal lovers" who have loved our dog as much as we do. Coordinating scheduling with the owner Katie has been a breeze and this service has been an enormous help to us!

Rachel is simply amazing at what she does and truly has a gift. My boyfriend and I rescued a beagle/dachshund mix named Chip this past January. We shortly came to find out he had severe separation anxiety...key word had. After training sessions and daily walks this totally changed. Chip went from crying/howling/chewing through crates to being left alone 5+ hours with nothing!! Even when we get home and don't immediately get him out he waits quietly. She is everything you want and hope for- super reliable, trustworthy, works with our schedules and accommodates changes when needed. Also she sends the cutest pictures during the day when we are at work along with a detailed description of how each walk went. We recommend Rachel and Wags and Wagons highly!!

Eddie is the best! Eddie has provided training for us on and off for the last year or so. We adopted our dog, Sandy, from a rescue org. a few years ago and she struggled with separation anxiety, leash reactivity, etc. After trying out several trainers with very little success, finding Eddie was a life-changer. From the start, he has been very clear and straightforward. He teaches simple, tangible skills to practice at home between sessions. He is very knowledgeable and well researched, and has been able to instill confidence in us at our most frustrated and hopeless moments! We also always have a good laugh when we meet with him because the second we hand him the leash, Sandy behaves like an angel :) Highly recommend.

This was hands down the best grooming of my cats I've ever had done. My four Persian cats need grooming semi regularly. Two of the cats could be groomed by anybody, they're gentle as lambs, but 2 of my cats are so bad (kicking, scratching, biting, hissing, struggling) that multiple groomers have said they refuse to groom them after one time. So it is crucial to find a good groomer. I also wanted a groomer who would pick up and drop off my cats or do mobile grooming. With Meldrin Montano and Petness World, I got attentive, timely service, positive responses to all 4 of my cats (even the bad ones), great looking shaves, and even a cowboy themed photo shoot after! Meldrin picked up my cats promptly at 9.30am, and dropped all 4 off promptly at 1pm. This was very fast, other shavers have taken all day for only 2 of my cats. Also, Meldrin shut down the whole grooming facility for my cats so they wouldn't be stressed by dogs, which other grooming facilities haven't done. He also sent me maybe 20 videos of my cats as they were being groomed, which was so comforting, accountable, and amusing. Also the price was lower than other groomers who didn't pick up my cats! Then at the end, Meldrin sent me over 20 photos from the cowboy photo shoot he did with each cat. This was the best experience getting my cats groomed I've ever experienced! I can't wait to use Meldrin at Petness World again!!!
As first time dog owners, we needed help with our new puppy. Anesti was very knowledgeable. Our puppy was having trouble walking at first, but with Anesti's help he got the hang of it right away. He helped us understand his behavior, and it has been a huge help.I would highly recommend Good Boy LIC to anyone looking for a dog walker.

Whenever I had family over and they saw Chico (my chihuahua) they'd always question why I still have him, and if I'm ever going to get him any training and call aggressive, weird and other things. I used to get offended, because to me Chico's behavior was "normal" being that he's a rescue and had been abused most of his life and I knew he "loved me" but had a hard time at showing it. Chico would like to alone, period. Even during feeding time, he'd hide behind the door before coming out to eat, if guests come over he'd go under the bed and growl but never show his face, if anyone tried to touch him he'd pee on himself, I have a five year old and even though he knows to stay away from him he still wants to play etc and couldn't in fear that he'd do something to him. I was the only one he'd allow around him, petting him a couple of times at max, but that's it. Never really able to cuddle with him etc. I heard about Fraternity K9 through family. The founder/trainer's name is Donald. He came highly recommended and I took his information... just in case I changed my mind about Training. Sure enough, about a week later, I got the sign I needed to finally get him some help. I felt like his behavior was slowly getting worse but not this bad. We were watching TV and I asked my son to pass me the remote, he got up and started walking towards me when I witnessed Chico literally lunge at my son from across the room, he didn't bite him but he snapped at him & started barking. Even though he didn't physically hurt him, it still scared both my son and I. At that point, I decided to call Donald. I told myself this is it, we'll try the Training, if it doesn't work (which I was highly skeptical) I would have to get rid of Chico regardless of how much it would hurt. Let me start off by saying Donald was extremely professional and patient with me when I first called him. Our initial conversation was almost half hour, I'm surprised he didn't charged me lol he let me explain in detail what was going on and he even gave me tips and pointers on how to deal with the situation in the Interim. they actually worked! We were able to schedule our first appointment a couple of days later. He's very down to earth and uses terminology that we'd actually understand in order to make the learning process easier, and if there's ever any questions, he's more than happy to further explain. He does home-visits, which works great! Donald explained the reason that Chico is that way he is, and it's not just because of the abuse, some things are strictly behavioral do to the dog's own personality. We started working on his confidence, aggression, his trust in people, and even bringing him around my son! So far, we've had several sessions, for months now, we've been with Donald since March 2019. So far Chico has learned to be in the same room as us without being scared, he's in the kitchen as I'm prepping his food and his Tail has been up a lot more lately, especially during walks (which we used to struggle with before, it would be a battle just to put his leash on)!Today is July 7, 2019 and it brought happy tears to my eyes to see Chico allowing my son to carry him for the first time ever!!!!! My son was super happy as well! Chico actually stood on the balcony with us without trying to run away! When I tell you Donald has changed the Dynamics of our everyday lives!! Things that I would never even imagine, Chico is now doing! It's been hard work! It's not just about the dog, it's about us as owners too, it's a lot of discipline and determination, but it's all well worth it at the end! I finally have a lap dog lol! We're no where near done, but the progress thus far has been immense and I can't wait to see what else he has in store for us. Maybe tricks? Chico still hasn't done any yet because we were focusing on other areas for now, but I guess it's time now :-) Awesome! Donald's fees are very reasonable and so is his schedule. I see why my family was recommending him all this time! Couldn't have done it without you Donald, thank you from my son and I!!!

Chris worked with our 8-week old puppy Allie for 7 days and he took such amazing care of her!
He taught her so much, she’s come along in leaps and bounds in only a few days.
We will defiantly be recommending Chris and his work to all of our friends and family.
K9 vision has helped me & my dog Dixie in so many ways. I have had her for over 2 years, and although I didn’t lack any love for her, my lack of knowledge / dominance over her led to some extreme reactivity, turning into aggression. I was so defeated and upset because she had never had issues with other dogs in the past. I was given Gabby’s contact info through a local pet store, and she then linked me with K9 Vision. Myles is extremely knowledgeable and I immediately trusted him with my best friend. I opted for a 3 week board and train with him, and it was the best decision I could have made. They updated me regularly, and the communication was outstanding. They worked with my busy work schedule for our progress lessons and always had her best interest in mind. They were extremely patient with my nerves, and were respectively real with me. Dixie & I both have a long way to go, but the confidence and skills that Myles, Gabby, and Jay have instilled in us has been a great starting point for our lifelong bond :) I can’t wait to continue working with them. You can tell this is truly their passion, and not just a way to make money. I highly highly highly recommend K9 Vision to anyone looking for any type of guidance / training with their dog, regardless of how long you have had them.
Left my dog here for a few nights when I went away and I was very happy with the service and Experience! They give you looks to check up on ur puppy which is awesome! One of the days I couldnt find him so I texted hope and she send a pic of him getting groomed (which was on the itinerary for the weekend) they also mention my dog has alot of anxiety so they had him sleep with them upstairs where the overnight staff sleeps which was super awesome! The online booking and making appts was super easy and when I picked up my baby boy he had this awesome tie on and they gave me a frame with his picture! Highly recommend
Vera is the best dog walker I've ever had!!! My dog ADORES her and gets insanely excited when I even mention her name.Vera loves animals and it shows in the way the dogs respond to her. She is reliable, conscientious, caring, affectionate and always goes above and beyond. She's made the transition to my going back to work in NYC easy and seamless for him. I've recommended her to many friends and everyone has had the same wonderful experience.
I used to think that I was an alright trainer because I didn't have any issues with my dog . However I didn't know how much information about dogs I did not know. This course was very enlightening. I can fully now understand how a dogs' mind works .The more you know the more you can train . My dog was trying to communicate with me but I didn't know what he wanted exactly , until after the course. Even if you do not want to be a dog trainer this course is so valuable if you own a dog. My dog is way more balanced now . I want to thank Katie for all the help and pointers she mentioned to me . Do not think this is a pay-to-win course this is hard work but it is worth it. I recommend it to anyone.
I just LOVE this place. My dog loves it also. The staff is friendly and they remember me and my dog every time. Jen Massccha, is always HAPPY and helpful. She takes good care of my dog. Can't wait to go back. GREAT JOB
James is fantastic. Not only was here helpful in scheduling a convenient time but he was super attentive when he arrived. We couldn't believe the affect he had on our puppy and he gave us great tools to help in training. We are really looking forward to continuing to work with James and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for some dog training support. Thank you James!!!
We took our extremely excitable 18 month old goldendoodle to the Family Companion Class training classes in Amherst and were very pleased. Toby learned a lot, but even more importantly, so did we. Paula Macrides, and everyone who came to help, were wonderful and always happy to help out and go the extra mile if you asked them. As with any training class, homework is important, but the results are worth it. My only disappointment is that the graduate class is too late on a weeknight to continue.
I was very happy with best friends dog training. I sent my seven month old puppy to boot camp with Scott during my vacation. He was great with me and my children (I do not know the first thing about dogs or dog training as I have never had a dog lol). My puppy came back and did act differently. She was no longer biting and seemed more calm/willing to listen. She was not potty trained but made some progress. Scott assessed my home and told me step by step what to do with her to facilitate the potty training. He subsequently came to my home three times for follow up to tell me and my family what to do to reinforce the commands the dog learned at boot camp. (Heel, sit, come, place). I do have to work with my dog twice a day for ten minutes to reinforce the training. It is simple and easy as she already knows the commands. What I liked most about the company was that all of this was explained to me before.... And Scott was always up front about the fact that the dog would not be perfectly potty trained upon return and I would have to work with the dog to keep up her skills. I will be using the company in the future for more board/train or in home lessons.
Our dog hasnt boarded here yet, but will in April. The process to make a reservation went very smoothly and the prices are reasonable. Took a tour and facility was immaculate and the dogs seemed happy.UPDATE!our dog was just picked up and it was the BEST !! This place is wonderful...the staff is SO caring, we could watch our dog on live video and he was treated with such great care. Wonderful !!!!!!!
Our dog, Astro, has been under Dr. Smith's care for about three years now. We have been back a few times as well as calling in for a bit help. Their services have been consistently very high. Very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable staff, great environment, and very convenient location. I have only the best comments for them.

A1 pet grooming is the absolute BEST! Atsuko the owner, and Angel, who grooms oursometimes tempermental maltipoo are truly professional, responsible, patient, gentle, loving and so very competent at what they do..which is groom dogs with expertise and kindness. They are true dog lovers, and it shows in every interaction they have with our dog, Roxy. I trust them implicitly with the grooming and pet sitting of our dog, and wouldn’t trust her care to anyone else. In fact, when she is with them, she doesn’t want her time with them to end. I am truly thankful for Atsuko and her staff, and I recommend them wholeheartedly!
I would like to thank ABC of Bed Bug K9 detection for coming on a short notice to inspect my apartment. After I found bite marks on my daughter, I started to freak-out. I contacted ABC's and they send over canine team. After a few minutes of searching my daughters' room, their dog Ruby, alerted to the presence of bed bugs. The handler then searched the area that Ruby alerted to and was able to show me the bed bugs.To my surprise Ruby also alerted in my room, which once again the handler was able to show me signs of the bed bugs. I am very grateful to them, they were very professional and discrete.I told my landlord what we have found and my landlord called his exterminator to come over to take care of the problem.I would highly recommend them!

We found Dr. Borchelt through a referral from a family friend. At the time my wife and I had been having difficulty with our large Bernese Mountain Dog being a little too aggressive towards strangers (men only) who entered the house while my wife was home. Dr. Borchelt came out to our house on Long Island and spent some time getting to know us and our situation and of course our big pup. Dr. Borchelt assured us it was an easy fix as our dog, Harry, was generally a great, well behaved pup. He explained that Harry just needed to learn the difference between people who are invited to come into our home and those that are not. This made perfect sense to us but we were very curious as to how we could quickly accomplish this. Dr. Borchelt introduced a gentle lead to harry and custom fit it for him so as to be comfortable. With the gentle lead on attached to a small leash we then began simple exercises with harry to learn the correct behavior when someone enters the home after knocking or ringing the bell. After about a month of asking random friends to come knock on our door, Harry is the most polite greeter you'd ever meet. We had a large party at our house recently with many people coming in and out and Harry passed with flying colors.Dr. Borchelt remained in touch throughout the process and was always available when we had questions. I HIGLY recommend Dr. Borchelt to anyone having a behavior problem with their dog.
