I am proficient in caring for many different species, most commonly dogs and cats, but also reptiles. When it comes to dog sitting, I have extensive experience in caring for various different breeds – from Labradors and German Shepherds to Boston terriers and chihuahuas. Whether you would prefer me to perform daily house visits for you or if you want to leave your pet with me, I’m set up to cater to your needs.
I have a great number of repeat clients who use my services regularly and (hopefully) that speaks for itself. I offer a diverse level of flexibility in what I can provide. Whether you need someone to look after a puppy for a few hours or care for your cat for a two-week period, I can do it. It’s also incredibly helpful to have a sitter looking after your animal during times such as moving house – one less thing to worry about! I am experienced in looking after more specialised pets such as snakes and turtles which can require bespoke care. My workspace is set up with the care of different animals in mind, so you can rest assured in the quality of their care, particularly if your pets are staying with me.

We had such a wonderful experience with Kathy at A Touch of Golden Class! She took excellent care of our Apollo, and it was clear from the beginning that she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. Kathy was attentive, responsible, and very loving with him, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. I especially appreciated knowing that she is bonded and licensed. She takes her responsibility seriously, and her professionalism really shows. Apollo was happy and well cared for when we returned, and we could tell he had been in good hands. I highly recommend Kathy and A Touch of Golden Class to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable to care for their pets. We will definitely be using her again!

I had a great experience with Dogs and Stripes K9 Training and Boarding. Benji can be a little shy and cautious, especially in new environments, and I really appreciated the patience and individualized approach Matteo took with him. Instead of rushing him, he focused on helping him become comfortable, work on socialization and environmental confidence, and gradually build his obedience and leash skills. I also appreciated receiving updates and being able to see Benji interacting with other dogs and gaining confidence throughout his stay. It was clear that his personality was being taken into consideration rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Bringing him home after being away for training was definitely an emotional moment for me, and I’m grateful for the care, time, and effort that was put into him. I would absolutely recommend Dogs and Stripes K9 Training and Boarding to anyone looking for someone who is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in their dog’s progress. ?

I had the greatest experience with Matt at his facility! Koda, my 1 year old Golden Retriever, was a frantic lunatic before. Although he knew simple commands it was hard to get him to focus on the task given to him. Through daily hard work and dedication, Matt managed to get my Koda to a point where I can continue his training and he is responsive to my commands. He also stopped Koda from always tugging while on walks, and no more jumping and barking for other dogs. 10/10 experience!
