-I am a trainer that focuses on the bond between you and your dog. -I work to help there be mutual understanding and solid communication. -I primarily work with Positive Reinforcement, but, understanding Operant conditioning, I work with other forms as well. -I am a Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive trainer. -I work in-home, as that is the dog's habitat, I believe that this is the best place to work with them for their stress level: It's where they are most comfortable.
My name is Abby O'Brien! I have a degree in animal science and a minor in animal behavior and have been training for over a year now. I adjust training to be specifically suited for the dogs needs and DO NOT use a "one training technique fits all" approach. Would love to work with you and your dog!

We have two very stubborn, hyper boxers; both are well over the age of 1 so we were worried training them would be impossible. Our female is very prey driven and will chase any small animal (or car!) and our male is very dominant. We had issues with them coming when called, jumping all over people, barking at people, leash pulling, and probably any other issue you can imagine.
After just the 1st session we saw a huge difference! Jenna had our dogs listening within the first 10 minutes, it was actually amazing. After 4 training sessions we have two NEW dogs! We are able to let both dogs off leash and take them into public without being embarrassed of their behavior. Our dogs were also a bit nervous and skittish when in public. After the training they have a lot more confidence. Getting them trained through Off Leash was the best investment we ever made. I'm no longer worried about my dogs hurting another human, dog, or potentially themselves.
We finally have peace of mind. I can't recommend Jenna enough. She was so patient with our dogs and gave us all of the necessary tools to work with the dogs in between training sessions. I cannot say it enough, getting them trained through Off Leash K9 Training was the BEST decision we ever made!
Call for a Free consultation I train behavioral conditioning along with obedience. The reason that so many training programs fail is the emphasis on obedience over behavior. Obedience is what you tell a dog to do, behavior is what your dog chooses to do.

Rich at K9 Reset is incredible. Beau, our fabulous 4 year old Great Pyrenees, had learned how to survive while living on the streets of Dallas, and to say he was a “wild thing” is an understatement. He was EXPERT at resource guarding, barking, counter surfing, pulling on his leash, jumping on people, lunging at trucks, etc. and needed to unlearn these behaviors and learn how to live in a home as part of our family. My basic training with this boy was not cutting it.
From my first conversation with Rich I knew this was the turning point that Beau/we needed. He spent one week at Rich’s facility in Salem, learning each of the skills that are helping him be the best dog he can be and Rich patiently showed us how to continue his training at home.
I can’t express enough how wonderful it is to see Beau’s positive response to his training. We all needed this as now he is a joy to be with - he is clearly more relaxed and happy and showing what a great family guy he is becoming.
I wish I had reached out to Rich sooner and urge anyone in a similar situation to not hesitate and to give him a call.
