I provide private, in home and around home lessons where I teach commands to help you control your dogs in all situations, no matter what their triggers are, training can help. Whether its jumping on people, barking at dogs on walks, pulling, lunging for squirrels, recall, any of your training needs. I do not use shock collars or treats, non-dominant/non-threatening approach with lots of love and praise as well as consistent communication to guide your dog into the right actions as well as teaching you how to do the same.
I’m a family dog trainer; my training methods are “relationship based.” Family dog training means “Relationship Centered Training.” I will teach you how to build a rewarding relationship with your adult dog or puppy and training ourselves first is the best, and only way, to start! I offer an alternative to the prevailing board & train or package programs that take weeks and are costly.
We had an introductory meeting with Pete. He was outstanding orienting us as new "dog parents" to caring for and training our 1 1/2 year-old rescue dog and new 4-month old puppy. He provided very helpful written material to read and videos to watch before our next session in two weeks. We cannot speak highly enough of him personally and professionally, and we look forward to working with him in the future!

We heard about Larry from almost everyone we ran into when we got our pup about a year and half ago. We have a Doberman and wanted to make sure he had obedience training. There is a reason most people you run into go to Larry. He's amazing. He not only trains your dog but he also teaches the owners how to train the dog. He makes training focused, fun, and productive. If your dog needs training, dont look anywhere else. Thanks for everything Larry!
