I truly don't know about her as a dog trainer, but she managed cat sitting with me for almost ten years, and she's RELIABLE. That absolutely the most important thing. She also caught a very serious illness in one of my cats and most likely saved his life. She's smart, she knows animals, and she's reliable.

Aaron was beyond fantastic to work with! He is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to dog training. From day one, Aaron came in with a positive attitude and showed immense dedication to our dog and our family. Within just one day of training, our dog had completely changed for the better. The first few months we had our dog were difficult. Having an 11 month old at the time, we were almost going to give up. The dog was tumbling our son over and eating all of his toys. After just a week of training with Aaron, our dog's behavior improved immensely which allowed for our son to gave a better relationship with our dog. They are now inseparable and play all day! Aaron quickly became a friend as well. He was a joy to be around and is, again, incredibly good and passionate about his job as a trainer. We couldn't recommend Aaron enough!

I sent our 4-month-old Maltipoo, Butler, to Saving Grace Canine’s 2-week board-and-train, and the transformation was incredible. Jean is patient, professional, and genuinely cares about both the dog and owner. Butler now knows all the basic cues (sit, down, stay, off, and place). He is calmer at home, more comfortable with his crate, and we have tools to keep him from puppy-biting. He's also 75% housebroken. This was a lot of progress in 2 weeks! Communication was clear, updates were reassuring, and the hand-off sessions equipped us with practical follow-through tips. Highly recommend Saving Grace Canine if you want fast, positive results delivered by someone who’s truly a pleasure to work with. We not only found a great training resource, but we also met a new friend.

My fiancé and I recently just had our German Shepherd, Piper, graduate from Sit Means Sit-Akron/Cleveland! We had attempted everything we could think of trying to get Piper to listen to us and communicate effectively, nothing seemed to be working. She was a very submissive dog when we rescued her so we were not sure what approach to take with her. We finally were referred to Sit Means Sit and it was a complete life changer. We had Jim as our trainer primarily for our classes. He was fantastic! He had a vast knowledge of the training and was full of tips/tricks for at home learning. They completely built up her confidence and she is no longer the very submissive dog we first had. I would definitely recommend this training program!

I couldn't be happier with my cat! I was satisfied with the adoption process....while it seems like a lot of hoops, it actually moved really quickly and my kitty was home with me within 4-5 days of applying. Was very well cared for in terms of foster home and vetting.

The staff is thorough and patient. Rocket, my ill tempered Pomeranian usually starts his visit to a new place by finding the nicest piece of furniture to mark. He likes to follow that feat up with biting or barking at the first new face in the room. The staff at Elite Southwest calmly observed his naughty behavior during assessment and quickly came up with a training plan Rocket started as a flunky in the course but now easily has a passing grade! I don't feel that he has to be in his puppy stroller everywhere we go. He is getting more exercise and now I fell comfortable out and about. Great service!

Working with Down Range K9 was a blessing in disguise. At first when my dog came home I thought my dog would be perfect and was really disappointed I didn’t see immediate results. I spoke to Ryan and he ensured me that if I stick with my follow up sessions and follow his recommendations that I would see results. Oh my gosh what a difference. It does take him awhile to get back to me because when he is training he does not stop to text back, but I love that I do talk directly to him every time I have an issue. If it’s not something we can fix on the phone then we set up a a date for him to come to my house to help. He has been my safety net through many different issues that come up with my dog. It is very reassuring to know I can always ask questions even when the training sessions are complete.

Found Marcus on Bark and we are 1 session in with our 10 week old golden and are seeing immediate results. Marcus is teaching us as much as he is teaching Goosey (our dog). Cannot recommend enough! He continually checks in with my wife and I on our goals and tunes training accordingly. We have more sessions to go but the progress and trajectory are clear and we are ecstatic.

Harrison and I are SO glad that we made the decision to train our dog, Hudson, with Capital Canine. Kevin is the absolute best, and we fully trusted him with our 2 year old dog for the 3 week board and train program. Before training, Hudson struggled with separation anxiety, couldn’t go in a crate or car, was very impulsive and would run away at the park with unreliable recall and boundaries. He is a very sweet natured and fun dog who is great with people, he just needed help learning how to control his energy. Harrison and I did not know where to begin with training, and we felt overwhelmed. Kevin made it extremely easy for us by doing all the hard work in establishing a behavioral foundation during the 3 week board and train. He even kept Hudson for an extra couple of days as he was committed to getting Hudson comfortable in a crate before bringing him home to us. The transformation has been incredible. After Hudson came home to us, there were immediate improvements. He could hold a place, sit, and down through distraction, and rest in his crate when asked. He understood how the E-collar worked, had better recall, and could heel and walk on a leash without pulling. These basic commands have truly changed our day to day and have helped us create more structure in Hudson’s day. On top of the 3 week program, Capital Canine continued to be supportive and helpful. Kevin worked with us in 4 additional sessions after the board and train to teach Harrison and myself how to continue the training throughout different environments and scenarios. He would respond to texts in-between sessions when Harrison and I had questions or were unsure of how we were training. He was a great teacher and helped us understand how dogs think and how we can better communicate with them. We really looked forward to these sessions and enjoyed our time with Kevin! Hudson always had a blast too. A month has now passed since the board and train. We have kept up with Hudson’s training and are confident taking Hudson in public, to parks, family and friend’s houses, and he is a more confident dog in those spaces. The training has been life changing. I am so happy that we did this, not only because it makes our lives easier, but I also know it makes Hudson’s life better too now that he knows boundaries and limits and doesn’t have to feel as anxious as before. Highly recommend training with Capital Canine. It is worth the time and investment!

We took our young dog for 3 sessions and wow, the difference is just amazing. Our dog liked to take us for a walk, had some serious separation anxiety, and impulse issues. Thanks to Karey's tips and trick our dog is making so much progress! He is now a joy to walk on his leash with his little harness, his is way less impulsive, learned some manners with other dogs, and his separation anxiety when just one person would leave the house is much better (he would body slam doors and windows) and we have that taken care of thanks to distraction tequnicques! We would not take our dog anywhere else but here for additonal training. Karey and Theresa have so much patience, and care for dogs, and their knowledge about dog behavior is unmeasurable. They encouraged us to bring anyone who handles our dog regularly to attend the sessions as well, and my parents are now comfortable walking him and working with his impulse training! The facility is also sparkling clean and smells good! Ive been in facilities that do not smell good and are not well cleaned and this place sparkles! As his owners and his family, we cannot thank Pawz 4 Peeps enough for their training and are so glad we trusted them to teach us! Thank you ladies!!!

I can say this, I am very glad I made the decision to contact Brandon for help with training our puppy! He met with us to explain how he works with his dog owners, and their pets. It was a great meeting we felt very comfortable with him and asked many questions which he answered. We met his own dogs as well, they were happy, beautifully trained dream dogs! We are very excited to be working with Brandon learning how to teach our pup.

The trainer we have been using is Sophia. She has been doing different things to train our dog. Our dog is responding very well to her. We are very pleased.
