Nice concept and nice drinks. Just needs some one (manager?) to ensure that there is good house keeping outside. Have seen 2 groups of people try to sit on a few of the outside tables and have not been able to as chairs were wet. One lady went over to get napkins to wipe chairs and table for her family to sit down. Also tables not cleared of spillage and full ash trays. Just need someone to keep on top of this as I would hate for this to lose its attraction.

Can’t recommend this company enough, they were amazing from start to finish, nothing I asked for large or small was any trouble. Food was delicious & there was plenty for everyone. So many varieties so nobody went Hungry. Honestly there was nothing they could have done better, would highly recommend.

Booked Derby House Catering for my 30th Birthday, I was having a Barbados/Caribbean themed BBQ.... and it was exactly that, the food was amazing, the service was amazing, it was completely stress free. My biggest worries were not having enough food but also not having a large amount of waste.... Ged cooked as he went along and assured me either way that there would be enough food but also no waste. It was perfect , and everyone commented on how delicious the food was with such a good variety of dishes! Would highly recommend it and look forward to using Derby House Catering in the future. I booked chalkys for my 40th birthday party.
I had a turn out of around the 190 ppl with everyone of them commented on how amazing and delicious the food was and how much variety there was to choose from!
There was plenty of food to go around and they even collect the empty plates once ppl had finished.
From start to finish they where fantastic…

Found this place by chance today. Staff really nice, place is spotless and the food is some of the best I’ve ever had. No alcohol on the premises but not an issue because it’s food we went for. Beware as portion are big and it’s a crime to waste such good food although we were offered a doggy bag to take home.
Price reasonable if it was your average restaurant but in my opinion for the quality of food it was excellent value. Thoroughly recommend.

We love this hotel! Beautiful hotel, great staff, just about reasonable price, great food, fantastic drinks, excellent decor, quirky but quality. Rooms are excellent, the beds are super comfortable, best nights sleep with firm but relaxing bed and comfortable quilts. Air con was excellent on a very hot day 27degrees outside, 16 in room. Recently stayed here again for the stereophonics concert. If we're staying out in Liverpool, we stay here, without question! 4 visits so far, all different rooms, all 5 star for me and my wife

Joe and his team did a fantastic job catering for our birthday party, with 105 covers. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the hot pot. Lots of our guests commented on how good it all was and the great variety. The set us and presentation was beautifully prepared and we really appreciated the Gluten free selection. GWF catering is a very professional and hard workjng team. Set up was punctual, all menu changes were accommodated and clear up was done next morning by the team. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend! Thank you to the whole team for helping to make my Mum's birthday party such a memorable night.
