Don’t be put off by the decor. It looks like a kebab shop. It couldn’t be further from it. Honest and authentic, the food was fantastic, as was the service. Highly recommend.

An amazing place to eat in Liverpool. Rumi’s does great food, has polite staff and has suitable family seating. For the Muslim family, there are many places that do not allow alcohol onsite however Rumis take their respect further by not playing music in their restaurant! This was so refreshing for me and my family as we rarely get a chance to enjoy great food out. Upon arrival the staff also seated us in a more secluded area which was also very kind of them to do. We ordered a small range of dishes all of which were consistently tasty. I would highly recommend this place to all! Especially those who prefer a music free environment. More...

tasty food, so far I have been going since 6 months now and I have tried various dishes, so far so good. Mango Lassi really tasty, also the other drinks. The mill is still very spicy please improve this. The shrimps portions are small please improve this. Also improve the time of serving sometimes you are too busy/ overloaded that the service turns into a stressed waiter and they ended up being rude. More...

Found this place by chance today. Staff really nice, place is spotless and the food is some of the best I’ve ever had. No alcohol on the premises but not an issue because it’s food we went for. Beware as portion are big and it’s a crime to waste such good food although we were offered a doggy bag to take home.
Price reasonable if it was your average restaurant but in my opinion for the quality of food it was excellent value. Thoroughly recommend. More...
