Find a Swimming Teacher in Berkshire

I have been lucky enough to have some more lessons recently with Nicki Gwynn-Jones to improve my front crawl stroke. I have been learning the TI method over the last 6 years with Nicki. When I started out I was a fit as a fiddle, but could really only manage 100m freestyle before becoming breathless. I think now after Nicki's excellent and patient tutoring and the super efficient TI methods now locked in my head, I think I could literally swim freestyle all day long. Many thanks to Nicki and TI in helping me successfully complete 3 x Ironman races. Coming our of the swim feeling fresh sure helps you get to the finish line!

After a bad experience at a previous swim school my little boy (3) was absolutely terrified of swimming. I booked him onto the intensive course during the last half term, the progress he made over that week alone was so amazing I signed him up for weekly lessons. He is now excited to attend the lessons and willing to participate rather than being constantly coaxed along. He also talks about how much he likes the instructors, which just goes to show how patient they are with him. I would definitely recommend making waves swim school they really have worked wonders for my 3 yr olds water confidence :-)

I wanted to find some one to one swimming lessons for my little boy who was going nowhere in the normal swimming school group lessons. I found Ian and haven’t looked back- little boy has come on In leaps and bounds in such a short time since starting. He loves going swimming and is getting more and more confident after every lesson- highly recommend giving Swimskool a try 👍🏻

I am having adult swimming lessons with Mo. My swiming has always lacked real technique and I was limited to a rather dull breaststroke. What has worked well for me is learning in a pool that is warm and the class sizes are small. I can now swim 3 different stokes competently and continue to develop with guidance and advice.Within the group there is a bit of variation in each individual's experience with swimming but Mo is able to differentiate instructions and feedback to help each swimmer develop. I have been fortunate that I have no real fear of water but it has been amazing to watch more nervous swimmers flourish and gain skill and confidence. Mo is patient and encouraging and all the swimmers are supportive of one another.Mo is a very likeable teacher. He is friendly and relaxed and being an 'in water' instructor means he is able to demonstrate as well as instruct.I would, and do, happily recommend Mojo's Swim School

I attended an anniversary party there this week. It’s a lovely centre and in a very peaceful setting. Paul the owner offers many types of great well being serviced there. I would recommend his “vibrating water bed”. I had only 10mins on it but afterwards felt totally relaxed and light.
